Mine are rogues, so…. maybe they end up on the farms territory by accident?
Mine are rogues, so…. maybe they end up on the farms territory by accident?
um so you know i would like this to be modern themed.
I can do that, doesn't mean that they don't wander as rogues a lot….
alright that works you wanna start or me.
(I've actually been thinking about switching to a more modern era that's easier to write anyway…. since everything in my books is headed that way anyway despite my efforts to lean for medieval…)
You can start!
Gwen was out in the farm with her twin brother Grady. She was convinced her father hatedd her since she was carrying firewood to the house while her brother gathered crops. She hated it, but she didn't complain. she did as her father asked even as the wood dug into her soft sensetive skin.
Alex sighed, leading the way through the trees. He was in the form of a large, golden furred wolf. His fur showed red undertones, and was more than a little noticeable. "Where do you think we should stop next?" he asked, glancing back at the red furred she-wolf behind him.
"No clue" said Blaze, meeting her twins green eyes with her own. Pulling ahead she broke through the trees at a light lope. Alex matched her pace.
"Having fun there sis" Grady said as his sister passes
"Shut up before I sock you" she said with an eyeroll.
"ohhhh I'm so scared" Grady said sarcastically.
Gwen rolled her eyes once more as she began to walk again.
Blaze shifted midstride, stopping just after. "I think I see a farm over there," she said, "Maybe we can hide in the barn for the night." Her long braided hair hung down her back, flyaways abounding.
Alex shifted after her, "Sounds like a plan" he said, running a hand through his messy golden hair.
Gwen had dropped the firewood at the front door and turned to head back to the farm when she saw what looked like two human figures. She squinted her eyes to get a better look when Gradycame up behind her putting a hand on her shoulder which caused her to jump and lose focus.
Alex sighed, "We've been spotted" he said, gesturing to the two figures ahead.
Blaze shrugged, "So?" she said, "We'll just ask to stay in the barn for the night."
Alex rolled his eyes, fingering the golden metal band on his right wrist. "You do realize we're dressed like hunter's right?" he said, gesturing to her leather jacket, loose pants and fur hunting boots, as well as his own denim vest, cargo pants, and hunting boots.
Gwen eyes the two strangers unlike grady who yelled "YO WHAT ARE YA DOING ON OUR PROPERTY"Gweb slapped Grady on te back of the head making him fall off the porch into the grass.
Alex glanced at his sister before stepping up. "We don't mean harm!" he called, "We were just wondeing if we could hunker down in your barn for the night!"
Blaze shook her head, resisting the uge to sock her idiot twin in the face. "Way to be blunt" she commented.
Gwen looked at her brother before jumping off the porch and walking over to the two crossing her arms over her chest with a smile "Pardon my brothers bratty behavior he's a bit of a twit" she said.
Blaze smirked, "I know the feeling." she said, "But either way, my brother is right, we were wondering if we could stay the night in your barn." she said. Blaze's movements were confident, not snobbish just confident.
Alex stayed quiet, one eye on the other pair and one eye on her.
Grady came up behind her "NO-" she started but was cut off when Gwen kicked him in the shin.
"Of course Just don't kill our horses" Gwen said brushing her blonde hair out of her face.
"We never planned on touching any of the livestock." she said casually. "Do you need any help around the farm?" she asked.
Alex stepped in, "It's a rule of ours that we help out in any way we can since we can't pay for lodging."
"We can manage" Grady said.
"And this is why you don't have friends Grady" gwen said with a sigh. she quickly looked at the two with a smile "Grady could use some help with the crops and I could use some help with the firewood If you don't mind" she quickly added on.
Alex nodded, "You got the firewood sis?" he asked, turning to Blaze.
"Obviously blockhead." said Blaze, turning to Gwen she smiled, "Lead the way m'lady"
Alex turned to Grady, "I ain't t gonna hurt'cha mate, so I don't get why you have an issue with us."
Gwen laughed as she led blaze back to the farm.
Grady squinted his eyes at Alex "last time we had someone stay in our barn" Gwen fell in love with him and what did he do he tricked her told her he loved her the next day he was gone" he said and began walking to the corn stalks.
Alex's face changed to one of shock. "Ok… that's understandable.." he said, "Though I can assure you I'm not that kind of jerk, and my sister would kill me if I were." he said.
Blaze followed Gwen back, "So, I never got your name?" she said.
Grady nodded with a smirk.
Gwen smiled "Gwen Dennis and that's my brother Grady".
"Blaze" she answered, "And my annoying brother Alex," she said, smiling.
Alex met him with a good natured smile, "So, I'm Alex, and I know zilch about farmwork" he said, trying to lighten the mood.
"Grady and my sister Gwen" he said
"He doesn't seem too annoying" gwen said.
