"H-" she was intterupted in the middle of her sentance by realization, "Alexa? What are you doing here? And how did you know I was gonna be here?" she asked, standing up

"Uhh, I could ask you the same thing" Alexa responded, her eyes moving to meet Caroline's eye.

"Hold on a second, I gotta text someone." she pulled out her phone to text Alexa «My roomate just found me at the park, I'll try to get her to leave. Can't wait to see you!» she sent it.

Alexa's phone rang with a text notification from Cari. It just confirmed her growing suspicion. Her online friend for the past 3 years was her annoying roommate.

Cari heard a ding as soon as her message sent, "Oh my god" she mumbled, freezing

Alexa didn't know what to say or do. She loved the friend on her texts but in real-life she hated her.

"Well, Hi" she hummed, hugging her tightly

Alexa still didn't know how to react she was in shock. The girl she was in love with was her roommate. It might have seemed complicated in her head but it really wasn't. She barely managed a hug.

"So, what do you want to do?" she cooed, her innocent side kicking in

"I don't know, it's up to you" Alexa said, she wasn't really good at choosing things to do and they would most likely end up bored.

"This s fairly awkward isn't it." she replied, her hands still on Alexa's waist

"A bit," Alexa says, putting her hands on Cari's hips. "It's just a lot to take in"

"Yeah" she laughed lightly, her hair catching the sun and reflecting off of it.

"So, should we go back to our dorm?"

"Why not. We could watch something" she replied, looking into her eyes. "I need coffee though" she added, smiling

"Cool, then we can stop by a Starbucks on our way there" Alexa suggested.
