"Do you speak Italian, then?" Kylie asked.
"Do you speak Italian, then?" Kylie asked.
"Yeah." She says, shifting in her seat.
(love her nerd!)
"Well, of course you do. You grew up in Italy. Duh." Kylie facepalms.
(Thank you!)
Kimberly was sitting towards the back of the plane, in a free seat. She had boarded the plane as one of the first, almost freaking out. What was she thinking? How could she be this stupid? Someone on the plane might know her family, and recognice her. What were the chances, but stil. But now, with the plane in the air, she was starting to calm down. Maybe she could fint her seat now, and get something to drink?
(Is someone sitting alone? Or have room across the isle?)
(Luis is sitting alone if you want to talk to him :)
(Great!)
For the first time since he'd arrived at the airport, Luis began to calm down. Still, there was something in the back of his mind that kept reminding him of everything he was leaving behind. His family, his friends, his home, everything. He focused on his drawing, hoping to get so immersed that he would forget about all the bad things.
Keep calm Kimmy, there is no need to freak ut. With an almost reliefed sigh, she stands up from the seat. A quick look at her boardingpass tells her the seat is just a few rows ahead. He tiptoes foreward, trying not du stumble and fall on her face. One row left. There! She dumps down on her seat, next to a guy who is caught up in his book or something. She fasten her seatbelt, and breath out. First step done. But it was a shame she didn't have time to bring a comic or something. This many hours and nothing to do. So she looks over to the guy, and down on his drawing. That was not at all bad! "Your drawing is good" She leens in closer to get a better look at it and tilting her head. "You've gotten classes for that?" She follows up, without giving him room to answer.
Luis hadn't even realized that the girl had sat down next to him until she spoke. He instinctively slammed his notebook shut, then turned to the girl. "Thanks. I uh…I took a class once in middle school." He wasn't used to people being so forward. Luis cleared his throat, relaxing his shoulders a bit. "Are your parents here somewhere?" He asked, lifting his head to look around. The girl looked pretty young to be on an airplane by herself.
She nods thoughtfully. Of course had he taken lessons. Nobody should be able to draw that well. It would be unfair for the rest. "Sounds great!" She begins, but shuts up when the question about parents comes up. She can't help is, she goes straight into attack. "Is there a problem? I ask about your drawing, and you want to know of my arents? Have I offended you? Why would you bring up my parents?!?" She is starting to freak out a little bit, but is able to keep her voice calm enough. Why was he asking that? Was it that obvious that she had nothing to do here, alone? Chill, Kimb. After all, if you scare him off, this will be a looong flight.
Luis inched closer to the window, shaking his head frantically. "No! No there's no problem. You just…look too young to be riding a plane by yourself. That's all…"
"Oh, so by your opinion I should sit in the very front, with a badge reading 'I'm traveling alone'? While I color with the crayons I would get from the staff?" She crosses her arms over her chest and the tone is reduced from anger to slightly annoyed. "I might not be an adult yet, but I am capable of sitting in a chair moving from one country to another you know"
"But…I don't think it's legal," Luis muttered, returning to his normal position. "And you never actually answered the question…"
She turns for a second to see if anyone else is paying attention to their conversation. She turns back and shakes her head, cunfused more than anything. "Is it? Are you sure? I didn't have any problems booking the ticket?" Perhaps because she lied about her age. Her older sister and her self is look practically almost the same. So there was no trouble. No trouble before now. She didn't think of lying to this stranger. She was annoyed he looked at her as little, and it just popped out. "Are you really sure?" She adds, starting to pannic.
(I'ts close to midnight here, so I have to go to bed)
(ah alright bye!)
"I'm almost positive. They don't let kids drive so I doubt they let them board planes by themselves." Luis responded, gaining a tad more confidence as he spoke. The girl didn't seem as defensive as before.
Rigel pulled out his camera, and reluctantly pulled out his folder of his portfolio after some thought. He wasn’t quite sure all of them were good, but… He handed it to Xander, “You can, um, look through it all, if you want. Some of it I might just throw away, I haven’t really thought about it much.” Lies, I put everything into these photos…
Xander took the manila folder and opened it, skimming through the pictures. They were outstanding, something even a million hours of editing couldn't accomplish. He sat there in awe of the pure beauty of the pictures and closed his jaw before Rigel could see it. "These are amazing, I really hope you don't throw them away." Xander looked at a few more photos before handing the folder back to him. "Have you ever thought about being a professional photographer because these are better than a few that I've seen."
Rigel blushed a little at the compliments, “You’re just saying that. I’m not that great. It’s really just the photo doing it’s job… But do you really think I could make a job out of it?” Rigel couldn’t stop that last hopeful question from tumbling out of his mouth as he clutched his folder overprotectively.
"Of course you can. You could be earning lots of money and fame if you really want it. All you need to do is add a bit more pictures and some things about yourself on your portfolio and you'd be out there." Xander was still amazed by the pictures and how well they turned out. "You might think to yourself that they're not good enough just because you took them, but look at them as if you were a random person who has never heard of photography and just saw this."
“I don’t know…” Rigel protested weakly, but after a few seconds, he couldn’t contain that secret joy in his chest that someone liked his photography, “But you really think they’re good?” Maybe I could ask him for a commemorative photo or something…
"Of course I do, I'll even help you if you want me to." Xander responded while smiling at Rigel. He had so much potential and Xander longed to be a part of that. Not for the money or the fame but for the happiness. He would love to see Rigel being happy. He knew it was so soon and that he should take his feelings down a notch but he could feel it already. It was cliche, but he couldn't help it.
Hawkin was calmed down. And suddenly, he felt very tired. He closed his eyes, laid his head against the window, and went off to sleep.
When Rai saw Hawkin fall asleep, he sighs and puts in music, sighing happily.
Hawkin was sleeping peacefully, in a deep dreamless type of sleep. All he dreamt about was his best friend Cas. Boy did he miss him…..
Rai opens his phone, sighing as he swipes past the picture of him and Halo. He shakes his head. Don't remember that. He shuts his eyes and goes to his music, listening to it.
