Kyle pulls his brother closer. He had always gone to his brother when something was wrong.
The boys mom rushes into the room. "Kenny! Kyle why would you let your brother do this?!" In her blind panic, she mixed the boys up.
"It was me." He corrected in a guilty tone. "It was all my fault."
Kyle closes his eyes, not answering his mother.
"Kenny…? What happened?"
"He jumped off a bridge because of me."
"WHAT?! WHY?!?!" Their mom freaks out.
Kyle whimpers, his grip tightening.
Kenny relayed the events of the day and sat, without looking at his mother's face.
"Excuse me?! Hiw could you let this happen to her?!" Their mom yells.
Kyle whimpers, his hand tightening around Kenny's.
"You know what, I'm tired of this." He didn't say any other word. All he did was put on his back pack and storm out the room, while leaving his mother and Kyle.
"Kenny…" Kyle whispers.
his mother get it. "Hey! Your brother needs you"
Kenny faltered in his movements when he heard his mom say that last statement. He went back into the room next to his brother and didn't say a thing.
Jessica had gotten realesed from the hospital but her left led was broken and needed a ride. Jessica quickly called the two boys mother.
Kyle takes his brothers hand. "This isn't your fault Ken…" He whispers, as the pain pills get the best of him
Their mom answers her phone.
Kenny didn't respond because he knew that it was and was getting tired of saying it.
Kyle tugs his brother onto the bed so his brother is laying next to him. He leans into Kenny.
Jessica spoke "Hi mrs lanes can you come get me from the hospital my legs broken and i'm on cruthes and my parents are out of town and i need someone to watch over me".
"Of course dear…"
"Thank you" she said and smiled.
"Dear…do you know what happened between Kenny and Kyle that Kyle jumped off a bridge?"
"What" she said "this is all my fault"
"What do you mean?"
"I kissed kenny' she said.
