"Of course, but I feel like serving the royalty would come before serving…well…servants." Porter chuckled as he watched the horse, cleverly named Domino, ate the warm biscuit from his hand.
( Alright what are we doing?)
[Oof. I feel like I should not be here?]
(I’m dead)
“Do I have to go?” Zackery complained to his mother. “Yes, my dear, you must marry, no complaints, otherwise, we both know your father is going to murder us both,” She looked into his eyes, smiling warmly. “Now come along child, your father will soon become impatient if we don’t hurry,” She stood. “Evelyn!! Make sure everything is ready, we should be leaving soon!!” She left Zackery to chase down the maid.
"Of course, but I feel like serving the royalty would come before serving…well…servants." Porter chuckled as he watched the horse, cleverly named Domino, ate the warm biscuit from his hand.
" Porter.." Ophelia sighed resting her hands on her hips, "don't be like that, just because they live in a fancy castle and are filthy rich doesn't make you any less important, after all, deep down we're all people, we all make mistakes, even the greatest kings."
Porter shook his head, taking another biscuit out of the bag and biting into it. He didn't speak until he was done swallowing. "Again, thank you, but you don't have to say that."
((@NessieTheMonster I would assume you could))
Alexandra stalked into the castle, her black cloak flowing behind her. She took all the back passages, hoping to not run into anyone on her way to her room. She was out all night to assassinate a rebel group leader. He had put up a good fight too. She was exhausted.
Porter shook his head, taking another biscuit out of the bag and biting into it. He didn't speak until he was done swallowing. "Again, thank you, but you don't have to say that."
Ophelia crossed her arms over her chest and frowned, "well, I feel like I do, because there are starving children on the streets, and the King is doing nothing about it…I just hope his son doesn't make the same mistake when he becomes king." Her expression melted into a compassionate stare, "those poor kids probably won't last next winter, I've heard the witches say the snow will be twice as bad as last year, and twice as cold."
He sighed, looking down at the leather bag. There was still a fair amount of food inside it. He closed the bag and began heading outside of the castle grounds, not bothering to tell Ophelia where he was going.
Ophelia shook her head and headed back into the kitchen to help out with preparing for the neighboring kingdom's welcome ball.
Porter made his way down the streets, searching for any of the children Ophelia was talking about. He spotted a small boy that couldn't have been more than ten crouched on the stoop of an untidy building. Porter made his way over to the boy, who peered up at him curiously. He handed the boy some of the breakfast from the bag, smiling kindly.
Alexandra made it the rest of the way to her room without running into anybody. Not caring that she was covered in sweat and blood, she colapsed on her bed, unable to function.
( Can Alexandra and Alex be friends? Since like Warrior princess and warrior assasian?)
Ophelia scurried up the stone steps of one of the hallways, breakfast in tow, she paused and Alexandria's door, she breathed and knocked gently…"Lady Alexandria? Breakfast is here."
((@AmericasFavoriteFightingFrenchGirl_LAFFETTE! Of course!!))
She groaned, then started to get up. "Come in, it's unlocked," she called. She quickly tried to make herself look a little more presentable, but most of it was hard to hide. She hoped that they wouldn't notice.
Alex was barely covered in sweat as the 5 guards laid on the cold, stone ground in exhaustion. As a daughter of the king, it took a long while for her to get where she was right now. She knew Alexandra would of already been back now from her latest assassination she had to do. She helped up the guards before walking inside the castle.
Ophelia opened the door quietly, " Sorry to wake you My lady, but breakfast has arrived, also you know of the neighboring Kingdom's Prince and Queen are arriving today, there will be a grand ball this evening to welcome them." She set the tray down on a near by table and awaited dismissal

"Oh, don't worry about it. And yup, I'll be there." She rolled her shoulders before adding, "Thank you, you can go." She gave a her a slight nod.
Ophelia curtsied left the room, she went back down to the kitchen and helped the maids finish with the preparations for the ball.
Alex walked up to Alexandra's room. She saw a maid hurry past before knocking on her door. "Its Alex." She announced.
(I have to do my art hw rn, have to draw a lion)
“Goodbye father,” Zac waved. “Farewell my love,” His mother Elizabeth hugged the king. She walked up next to her son. “Your father was such a nice man,” She sighed. He was??? Since when was father a good man?? Zackery thought to himself.
Alexandra walked over to where Ophelia had left her breakfast and started to eat. Her thoughts wandered to what she was going to wear to the ball. A dress, obviously, but one that could stash several weapons, just in case.. She heard Alex yell at her door. She got up and opened her door to let her in. "Hey," she tiredly said.
Alex saw how tired she was. "Do you want to skip some of the ball? I can arrange that." She said and stepped inside the room.
