Do you think I should open this up to another person then?//
(Maybe)
James cracked an eye open, "Wait… really?"
“Hell yea dude, anytime. Just don’t knock my books off the side. I can live without the sleeping bag but those books are the things that keep me sane. Well, as sane as I can be.”
"I won't, I swear. Thank-you, Kris."
Kris clicks his fingers “ey no problem.”
James sighed and checked the time on his phone, "I guess I should probably go…"
Kris sighs “I guess so, hey just remember what I said dude.”
"I know, I won't forget it," He placed a light kiss to Kris' cheek, "See you tomorrow." He said before standing and heading home.
Kris kinda just layed there momentarily after he left “Well, this day was interesting.” He says to no one in particular. He then gets up and walk back “home.”
Audrey giggles. “Yeah it kind of is,” she agreed with wonder. “It’s so beautiful out here.” She took another sweeping look at the scenery. “Of course, you’re beautiful too. Which is really distracting, by the way.”
Juniper felt her own cheeks heat up at that statement as she tilted her head. Covering it up she giggled, staring Audrey in the eyes. "Hey now, don't go stealing my thoughts, ya hear?"
Audrey blushed too, her face reddening as well. She giggled too, somewhat nervously, but also excited. “Well I can’t help it if you’re pretty,” she argued playfully.
"And if you're prettier?" June smiled, looking at the river momentarily begore back to Audrey.
Audrey laughed. "I could go all day," she replied. "I never lose an argument. I'm too stubborn, and you're too stunning for me to back down." She smirked.
"You don't talk much, is it me?" He asked while looking around the place.
Keri looked up at him again and said "no, it's just… i'm in shock, i just found my soulmate, also i don't talk much until people get to know me and then i start talking more." Keri drank the last few drops of coffee in my cup and placed the now empty cup down on the table.
"Okay, let's get to know each other. I'm Luke, I have a younger sister and older brother, I am also 18 of course and male." Luke said while stuffing his wallet back into his pocket.
"Alright, my turn, i'm Keri im 18, and have no siblings, also i'm a female obviously," Keri watched Luke and rolled her sleeve up "and here were the words that appeared on my arm a few months ago."
"Same font for everyone I guess. Let's do favorites now. My favorite food is pasta, favorite drink is tonic water and ginger ale. People say tonic water by itself is weird but I like the taste for some reason. Hmm…" He stopped to think for his other favorites. "My favorite color is metallic silver, favorite think to do would be parkour, and I can't think of much else. What about you?"
Keri thought about that for a second and replied while counting them off on her fingers "Hm, my favorite food would have to be lasagna, favorite drink is lemonade, my favorite color is turquoise, and my favorite thing to do is go on a trail run," she thought for a second and said "Oh, i have an idea, one random fact about you. Mine is that im left handed, what about you Luke?"
"I would say that, I'm an orphan. Most people wouldn't assume it at first but it is what it is." He fiddled around with his bracelet before talking again. "Tell me another random fact about you." He asked.
Keri thought for a second and finally settled on saying "well, i love to read and write short stories so ya… your turn again." she looked at him again and she faintly blushed.
"Do you publish the stories?" He asked, not answering his side of the question. "Or at least let others read them?"
"i don't publish them so they are all rough drafts at this point, and every once in a while i let people read them," she looked through her backpack and found the notebook of her stories "one day i want to make them all into full books and publish them, but not now."
"Can I read it?" Luke asked cautiously while looking down at his hands.
(Going to bed, Ik it's early but I've stayed up till 6 am yesterday)
(thats ok, gn!)
Keri slid the notebook over to him "only if you don't judge them." she looked down and waited for him to read them.
Audrey laughed. "I could go all day," she replied. "I never lose an argument. I'm too stubborn, and you're too stunning for me to back down." She smirked.
"Ah shoot. I would end up loosing, so why start a war I can't win?" Juniper giggled. She reached her free hand over to the other, booping her nose. "
"Of course not." Luke said as he picked up the notebook. He started flipping and skimming through the pages reading bit of each story. When he was done, he slid it back and looked at Keri. "These are really good, are you thinking about being a writer or is this just a hobby?"
Keri blushed "i'd really like to be a writer someday," she took the notebook from the table and put it back in her backpack "What about you, do you have any hobbies?
Audrey laughed. "I could go all day," she replied. "I never lose an argument. I'm too stubborn, and you're too stunning for me to back down." She smirked.
"Ah shoot. I would end up loosing, so why start a war I can't win?" Juniper giggled. She reached her free hand over to the other, booping her nose. "
Audrey laughed. “Haha! Victory!” She declared jokingly.
(I'm still alone…)
(Oh gods that’s not good.)
