"N-no, its not that…." Ariene was extremely tense. She still suspected Millie, but her crying was making it hard for Ariene to be mean to her.

(we're behind the hospital by Sage's car)
Sage glared at her, crossing his arms and keeping his knife hidden. "Cut the bullshit," he snapped.

"No, I can tell you aren't fine. None of you are fine. I don't even know why you called me here" Millie sobbed, beginning to trudge out the door.

Sage grabbed her shoulder, desperately pushing down the nauseating guilt that surged up. "I called you here because we need to talk about what the hell happened."

Tears flew from Millie's eyes and he spun her around, " o….okay" She said, wiping the tears from her cheeks, locking eyes with Sage. Her's were filled with sorrow, and his were filled with guilt.

He quickly let her go, at a loss for words as he looked into her eyes. His gaze snapped to Ariene, and then back to Millie. "I… who was that, trying to kill me and Ariene?"

Tears started to fall more violently out of her eyes, but her facial expression stayed the same, "My little sister, Charlie. She just got out of the insane isylum, but she's not okay. I didn't know she was following me… I'm sorry." Millie explained, her voice cracking more than once.

He backed up, not sure what to do. He frowned, looking down at his shoes. "Um… I'm sorry."

Millie sighed " she's the one who almost killed you, I'm sorry. If I hadn't been thought of neither would she, and you guys would be living out a normal life, and…" Millie's voice cracked again.

Ariene came up to Sage and looked at Millie. "….Why didn't you mention that she was your sister earlier?"

"I just found out. I didn't know it was her before the thing at the mall… but then I saw her and I recongnized her and it was just….. i didn't know she was… capable of that?" Millie squeaked.

Ariene was starting to become even more confused. All this was messing with her head. She didn't know whether to trust Millie or not to.

Ariene thought for a moment. "You said, 'She's right behind you.' when I asked where she was at the mall. Meaning you had seen her before, right?………"

" I knew you don't beleive me.. I don't even know why I try..to explain.." Millie said, her voice cracking over and over.

"No no, it's just…..I'm just trying to piece together everything that happened. I'm still processing it through my head. You understand, right?" Ariene lied, trying her best not to be mean to Millie

Millie swept the tears away from her eyes, "Not really, but I'll pretend to" She could hear the fake tone underneath Ariene's breath.

Sage leaned against a wall, taking in a deep breath. "Okay, I think we're all on edge here. How about we all go get some coffee or something, and we can talk about this calmly?"
