Hey peeps. Okay, I done oofed in life a little and I just need something fluffy that can be deep and dark and brooding at times but ultimately a romance. Because I'm trash. And I need some kind of love. I'm thinking a modern time because that's where I do best at. I also do normal humans, but I can step a little outside on that. Anyway. Hi.

Name: Ever Jay Smith
Age: 24
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Appearance: Oh goodness. Okay, so, she had this light brown hair color as if mother nature took the bark of the tallest tree and the rich look of the soil after it rains creating this wonderful thing atop her head she tends to hate. It flows down a little past her shoulders and face. Her eyes are like a reflection of her hair, but just on the very outer layer you can make out little cracks of sadness creeping up on everyone. Whenever she smiles, these dimples appear along with this glow the stars above have ever seen. She has a fairly average frame. She generally wears normal jeans with a t-shirt and black Converse shoes. She doesn't really pay that much into her clothing.
Personality: Oh child. When you first meet her, she seems like she should be somewhere bigger than where she is with that smile, and even after you have she still does. She has tried her best to be as happy as everyone has wanted her to be, but there are days she falls and the cracks in her eyes widen a little. She does smile a lot and is outgoing to everyone. After having to be independent so long, she really needs someone, although she refuses to admit it. She will love you. A whole lot. However, if you don't show your love for her, she tends to give up. Sometimes, it feels like she clings a little too much, but with her dad gone, she's really scared everyone else will leave her too.
Favorite Dinosaur: Styracosaurus
Other: Welp. She's only had her mom really. Her dad left when she was young taking her brother with him. She hasn't left her mom, afraid to break her anymore than she is. Or maybe herself… She is a hopeless romantic, no matter how much she tries not to be.
(She ok??)
(She’s awesome!)
Name: Willem “Will” Reynolds
Age: 25 (I was thinking mid to late 20s)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Light, curly dirty blonde hair that’s short on the sides and long on the top, turns light brown in the winter, medium tan skin, light sea foam green yes that sparkle in the light, freckles across his nose and on his neck, one dimple on the right side of his face, kind of an upturned button nose, lean build, slightly muscled, 5’10, oddly big feet, smallish shoulders, looks like he’s gonna cry a lot for some reason even though he’s very happy and likes to joke, wears athletic jackets and sweatpants most of the time, but sometimes wears dress shirts when he’s feeling fancy
Personality: Needs to be occupied, doing something all the time, tries to look on the bright side of things, constantly cracking jokes, not the sharpest tool in the shed but he’s got a good heart, cries a lot despite all of this, some things just make him super upset, especially people being hateful, kinds depressed when he’s on is own but doesn’t show it, clingy but in a good way, loves his friends to death and doesn’t take crap from anyone who disrespects them, very lazy and procrastinates a lot while wishing he had the willpower to actually do stuff, lived off of ramen noodles, McDonalds, and CapriSuns.
Favorite Dinosaur (because why not I don't really know anymore): Iguanadon
Other: Has a brother who killed himself, broke his arm several times as a kid, tells everyone he’s a Gryffindor bUT is totally a Hufflepuff, wears glasses at night when he takes his contacts out.
(Is he good? I made him up on the spot so he prolly has some character flaws)
(He's such a akdfllfksaddfkals I love him so much)
(Okay, where do you want this to be set? And do you wanna start?)
(Ahh I didn’t even think about setting! So.. “deep and dark and brooding at times but ultimately a romance.“ Could be a rainstorm and they both are cooped up at the same place? If you have any better ideas, which I’m sure you do, lemme know)
Oooo I like that… Like underneath a little covering thingamabob of a restaurant? I know it's cheesy, but no umbrella?
(Fun! And maybe they eventually decide to go inside for a cutesy dinner or somethin)
(Cool! Ima go to bed soon, though. It’s almost midnight for me. You can post a starter, but I won’t reply until morning. G’night!)
Okay! I'm actually about to head to bed as well, but I'll post a starter when I can! Goodnight!
Ever stood beneath the awning in front of a restaurant waiting for the rain to stop. The street was filled with cars speckled with raindrops and the sidewalks with umbrellas. It wasn't that she didn't like the rain, just that it was too far to walk back in the rain, and if she came back with a cold her mother would scold her. She wrapped her arms around herself hoping to keep some kind of warmth close. The rain always had this somewhat gloomy effect- grey skies, cold gusts of wind, numb looking faces. Normally, she would have remembered an umbrella. Today, it just slipped her mind. A small shiver went through her. Her sweater was thin enough to let some of the coolness in but the warmth out as well. Standing there, if felt like silence. It didn't sound like silence with the constant sound of rain, the sloshing of the puddles in the street, and the distant chatter of the people inside. It felt more like it. There were hundreds near her, yet not a single one seemed to notice her. She couldn't tell what their thoughts would be having never known them. It was just the feeling of silence.
Willem had been walking back to his apartment from work when he got caught in a downpour of rain. Even though he normally loved rain, it just seemed to add on to everything bad that had happened to him that day. He was aiming for a promotion but didn’t get it because “You mess around too much.” He had also spilled coffee on himself and important documents, so he ad been walking around all day with a stain on his work shirt. Waiting for him at his house was a change of clothes. Unfortunately, the rain prevented him from getting there, especially with no umbrella. His hair now sticking to his forehead, he looked for any sort of shelter and came upon an awning just outside of a small café. He jogged across the street, getting somewhat splashed by passing cars, and stepped under the awning. Will finally noticed a girl a couple feet beside him and turned to her. “Got caught in the storm, too?” He asked jokingly.
Ever jumped a little at the voice. "Hmm?" She turned to see someone standing next to her. "I- uh, yeah." She could see he was soaked. She looked back out to the street to see that the rain was still pouring. A feeling filled her. It was a tension held in the feeling of silence. "I hope this will let up soon." She could feel herself cringe internally. You are one mess of a person.
