(Lucky a girl or a guy?)
(He's a guy)
(hello, can I join?)
(K)
"Umm. I did see him but didn't remember to bring him with me," Shey sighed and yanked Diane's arm. "I'm truly sorry."
(hello, can I join?)
(yeah sure!)
(wait, shoot, my plane is boarding. so nevermind. I might be back later, idk)
Ariene stared blankly at Shey. "Y-you didn't bring him……" Ariene said. "What if he's in danger!!!! Why would you leave a cute adorable puppy all on his lonesome!!!!!!"
"About an hour ago is when I saw him. Uh… I think he was thirty minutes south."
Panic flooded over Ariene. "Was he injured?! He has a problem with his joints, was he limping???? Was he still bleeding?! Ahhhh oh god, I forgot to re-apply his cast, he broke his leg back at the fight. Oh god nooo what do I do!"
She paced in circles, continuing to worry.
Shey shrugged, "I can't remember if he was hurt or if he was limping. I'll go with you to help find him, even if it takes a month." Shey placed her hands on Ariene's shoulders and forced a tiny smile. "He's gonna be alright."
"Thank you, Shey," Ariene said, still worried. "How will we find him? Did you come by horse?"
"I did," Shey looked over to Freed who was letting Kira and Michael mount him. "But we can't use him."
"Okay then, I guess we'll have to get there by foot." She said, starting to speedwalk towards where Shey had last seen Lucky.
Diane rolled her eyes and picked up a sword from one of the soldier's bodies. It still had blood dripping off of it. She went back to Shey and Ariene. "Can we go find Lucky already?"
Ariene stops walking and turns to face Diane. "That's the plan."
Diane scoffed. "Fine."
She turned back around and continued to walk. Ariene hadn't known Diane for very long, so she hadn't discovered what she was like yet, but Diane didn't seem to be very fond of Lucky, which Ariene didn't like.
Shey sighed and moved closer to Ariene. "Sorry about Diane."
"It's alright. I just… I'm worried about Lucky and I don't like her attitude against him. That's all." Ariene said, keeping the rest of her opinions on the matter to herself for now.
"She doesn't have an attitude against him… She just is mad at me." Shey shrugged.
"Mad at you? What are you talking about? She loves you." Ariene said very confused.
"She just thinks that I need to be at her beck and call every minute. I mean… She does love me, but apparently, I say the right things at the wrong time."
"I see." Ariene paused. And do you love her back?" she asked, hoping that question wasn't too personal.
