"I'm sure she doesn't care how many berries you pick"

Anna sighs. "I'm serious, Sami. I don't- there's nothing for me to do here."

Sami glared at her. "You are here. You are a part of this team now."
"Who says?" Anna asks, exasperated.
"Says me." Sami replies, adjusting her crutches. "Now cut out the angst. We've got some hunting to do." She gave an encouraging smile and extended her hand.

Michael fires an arrow into the deer's throat, he notices a flash of the familiar golden armor before one of the Golden Knights attacks him from the side. Michael instinctively tries to block the attack with the makeshift bow but it is destroyed. He starts to overwhelm the slow Knight with his sword but pauses when he sees that he is surrounded by them.

Anna and Sami heard signs of a struggle coming from where Michael had left. The two girls ran (well, Sami hopped) over to where the commotion was coming from just in time to see Michael being surrounded by the yellow people.
"Hey! Jerks! Over here!" Anna yelled, lancing a twig at them. Naturally, the twig didn't do anything, but it was worthy to try.

Sami hears a faint yell ring through the trees to her left as she dressed a wild turkey they had killed. Her head snapped up from her task and she scrambled for her crutches, wiping her silver dagger off on her trousers as she went. She jammed the knife in its sheath and rushed into the main clearing and nearly fell over. As soon as she was within earshot, she yelled for the rest.
"GUYS!" Sami shouted at the top of her lungs, cupping her hands around her mouth, trying to keep balance and breathing hard. She had Anna and Amber's attention now. She couldn't see anyone else. "WE'VE GOT PROBLEMS! I THINK SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MICHAEL!"
After having made sure that they heard her, Sami crunched as fast as she could toward the trees from where she heard Michael yell. A blur of golden armor went past, and Sami saw the flash of a blade and heard the clanging of metal on metal. The air smelled faintly of blood.
She unsheathed her dagger in time to see Michael pressed on the ground by another Golden Knight, a sword at his throat. She made a split-second decision.
She hoisted her left crutch up and threw it at the knights head.
Now, having thrown knives all her life, Sami would say that throwing a large heavy piece of plastic and metal would be different. It was. But it still hit her target.
The butt of the crutch slammed into the back of the mans head and bounced away. The knight groaned and released Michael, who rolled away. He got up and turned around, looking for the assailant, and his eyes landed on Sami.
"Oh crap." She thought to herself. She braced herself, hefting her long silver dagger as the stalked towards her.

Michael, recovering from his recent beating as fast as he possibly could, swung his sword in a fatal arc taking the man's head off "thank you" He says to Sami
