Michael sinks the sword into the beasts head ensuring its death "much easier than I expected"

A horse neighs in the distance. The sound of galloping closes in from behind them. I'm so sorry I'm late Master Ariene. I went as fast as I could but Duchess was being a brat and wanted more feed.

"That was really great Michael!" "No wonder you got promoted to be one of the king's knights!" Ariene says.

"Well it's a lot easier to attack when its eyes are hurt." She responded

"Oh! There you are Amber!" Ariene smiled and waved.

(My only friend is my horse.)
As Shylar awoke, she winced at the sound of a shrieking monster and of the pain. She looked down at her calf and took off the red piece of her shirt that she tied on the wound to stop the bleeding. Once she took it off she realized that the poison had made her veins green. Shylar tried to stand but couldn't put weight on her leg. She sat back down and screamed for help.

He nodded in agreement distracted by a figure leaning against a tree stump "hey, its that girl"

Michael approached the injured girl from before "calm down calm down, whats wrong"

Amber hops off her horse, stumbling a bit, and walks over to the beast to look at it. Wow. What is this thing? Is this what I missed out on? Looks down disappointed. Ah well. I'll be fine. Who's this guy?

"Oh ya! It looks like she is still injured, we should help her!" Ariene says urgently. "Amber did you happen to bring anything we could use to help her?"

"Well, the monster was something I had to come after for bounty, and this is Michael, one of the Kings' knights." Ariene responded.

Amber digs through her satchel It just so happens I did! I have some of my mother's old cloth in here just in case something were to happen to me. My mother is very overprotective, but it comes in handy. pulls out the cloth and a small bottle of some green liquid You can put this on it to help the spreading of the poison. It'll sting but it'll help.

Wait did you say, A KING'S KNIGHT?!?!?! That's amazing. shakes head a bit to get back on track. She is our first priority.

Michael examines the girls leg, "poison, what the hell is this girl wrapped up in" He takes the flask and cloth and expertly applies it to the injury

"That's great Amber! Thanks so much! Always a couple steps ahead of everyone, good job!

Shylar didn't recognize the knight approaching her and backed away. "Calm down. Calm down, whats wrong?" Now Shylar knew who it was. It was the goody-too-shoes knight that supposedly saved her earlier. Shylar stuck out her leg and pointed to her calf. "Poison."

"Be still' Michael tells her

Smiles a bit and shakes her head. The true hero is my mother. Laughs then head to the girls side to comfort her.

Michael finishes applying the medicine and whistles to call his horse "Ill take her straight to the capital"

"Ow! That stings." Shylar exclaims when Michael applied a liquid to her wound.

Nods. Perfect. She'll need help from the local healer.

"Can you move your toes?" Michael asks "what is your name"
