Anita nodded letting Alex know that she was listening. Once Alex lit her cigarette, Anita held out her hand. "May I?"

"Of course," Alex said, handing her a cigarette and lighter.
(Where are we exactly? on a ship or on land?)
"Thanks." Anita took the cigarette and lit it. She inhaled and coughed. "Ugh. It's been awhile." She thought out loud.
Alex laughed. "I can tell. How long has it been?"
"Umm. About four weeks." Anida cringed as she realized that she wouldn't have to go back home to her abusive parents.
(We're on land.)
Christina walked along the dust brown hallway as the sun should brightly through the window, reflecting the dust that was drifting off the floor and walls.
(ooooooh. Where's she?)
(in the hallway?)
(Of where?!?!?)
( in the hallway out side your dorm)
(Oh,)
"Wow. That's impressive," Alex said, taking another puff of her cigarette. She enjoyed the smell of the smoke.
"I hate smell of smoke." Christina muttered under her breath. Blowing it away from her face, she darted down the hall to the library to get away.
Alex heard somebody say that they didn't like the smell of smoke. Turning around, she noticed that a window the the dorms was open. "Sorry!" She shouted, moving away from the window so that the smoke wouldn't drift inside.
"HEHEHEHEHE!" Christina chuckled evilly as she his behind a wall, it wasn't her best interest in hurting peoples feelings, but when someone hears her accidently, ohhhh, she just had to laughed evilly while running away from all the shame.
Alex stopped, looking back in confusion. "What the hell?" She muttered.
'Run! Run! Run! Run!' Christina screamed in her head, Racing away from the wall, she darted through the hallways to get away.
Alex opened the door to look inside, catching sight of a girl running around a corner. She shook her head and closed the door, deciding to head back to the dorm. "Come on, let's go back," she said to Anita.
"Good," Christina sighed, "They did not come after me." Sitting gown on a bench, Christina decided to watch the two stupid sparrows fighting each other.
