"Maybe you should get your head checked out, I think you might have hit it on the way down." He kept his face passive, not letting any emotion show in fear of giving away his secret. Oh, now you fucked up, he thought.

"I-I saw you though. You burst into flames. What are you?"
"You didn't. You're seeing things. I'm a normal man that accidentally crashed into you on the street, and I apologize for that." He pursed his lips and shoved his hands in his pockets, averting his vibrant green eyes. She really isn't giving up… "Maybe you should get some help."
"I saw you. Why won't you just tell me what's going on?"
(I changed the pronouns, sorry)
He glared at her, turning his dimensional mirror over in his hand, thinking for a moment. He could just bounce out of this reality right now and leave them stranded here, never knowing what exactly happened, but if he left now, he'd run the risk of accidentally dragging them along with him into a parallel universe. But what other option did he have, other than saying 'nothing happened' over and over again?
(is it okay if he does this?)
(tis okay and yes you can do that)
"You gonna say anything?" They said, crossing their arms and looking up at Milo.
"No," he said, before flipping open his mirror and hoping for the best as he looked into it. Please don't look in the mirror, please don't look in the mirror, he thought, hoping the small person wouldn't get curious and glance at the reflection, taking them with Milo into the parallel universe.
"Wh-" They stopped talking, glancing into the mirror. "What's that?"
"God dammit," he growled, feeling a tug on his chest and sighing before flipping the mirror shut. The universe seemed to bend for a moment, folding in on itself before unfolding into a place that looked… almost the same, but the streets were trashed, the sidewalks were trashed, and people everywhere were walking down the sidewalk, covered in flames of various colors. Arguments in alleys, stores, and in the middle of the streets were heard everywhere. It was a typical day in this universe, it seemed like.
Robin shrieked and covered their mouth with their hands. "Wh-wh-how WHAT THE HELL?! Where am I?!"
Milo sighed and shoved the mirror into his pocket. "Not where you're supposed to be. You're also very far away from home." He began walking forward. "It'll take you a while to get back, and I'm not going to stand here with you for a whole 24 hours until I can toss you back to where you came from, so if you want to stay alive, I'd suggest you stay very close to me, whether you want to or not."
Robin glanced around nervously and slid over to Milo, staying close to his side as they walked. "Where are we?"
He clenched his jaw, not looking down at the person next to him. He hadn't expected them to actually follow. He kind of wished they hadn't, as he really didn't enjoy having company. "A parallel universe. Welcome to the realm of warlocks. You're very likely to die if you say the wrong thing, so I suggest you don't speak without my permission."
“O-okay.” Robin squeaked nervously.
(I just realized that last part sounded kinky oof)
He felt a twinge of guilt in his chest, knowing how terrified they must be, but he stamped down the feeling and continued forward. "I'll be bringing you to a pawn shop that me and my friend own. It's also where we live. You'll be staying there until you can get home, she won't mind me bringing a guest."
(Lol Jared?)
Robin looked up at Milo curiously. “She?”
(kjhsdgkjh first of all curse you for making my blind ass zoom in so far so I could read that, second t h a n k you for making that reference I love deh)
He glanced over at them, raising a brow. "Yes? What's wrong with having a female friend?"
(Lolololol that word is cursed by the insanely cool Jared Kleinman)
“Nothing..” Robin looked down as they walked. Wow way to make assumptions you ass. Robin told themself angrily.
(These pronouns are fucking with me)
(lmao yep
and same but it's fine lol)
He chuckled lightly. "What, did you think we were together?" he asked, amused.
“You never know with these things.” He shrugged, smiling a little.
Way too gay for that, he thought to himself as he walked, clearing the smile from his face. "We're here," he said, stopping abruptly at a small glass door leading into a very messy shop that smelled of roses and cigarettes.
“Cool.” Robin said, following Milo inside. Aaand now he thinks you’re weird. Not like it isn’t true but still..
He could feel the heavy electricity in the air as he walked, moving and sparking around him. "Amber!" he called, moving into the back room and holding the door open for the person he'd accidentally stolen from another universe.
(should I RP as her or just use Milo and say Amber isn't home?)
(It’s up to you)
Robin nodded thanks and looked around the room curiously. “How am I here again?”
