Totally! She responded, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
"Perfect!" Xara said. "You, dear sister, are ready."

Alright! I’m on my way! Neo walked out of the bathroom.
“Met!”
“Mmmwhat?”
“Come with me to pick up Suri.”
“Whyyyyyy? I don’t wanna talk to anyone….”
“You made a really bad impression, come on.” Neo walked into his twin’s room and lifted him up out of the bed, where Met was trying to sleep.
Ok, see you soon 😜 Suri responded. Now that she was actually doing this, she didn't feel ready. Texting was fine, but she wasn't good around people in person.
Met was limp in Neo’s grasp. “Come on you bum, get dressed.”
Met huffed, pushed Neo out of the room and got dressed out of his PJs before joining his twin. “There. Happy? Can we go and get this over with?”
Neo chuckled, grabbed his keys, slipped on his loafers and trotted outside happily.
Suri say in a chair and waited, rather impatiently for Now to arrive.
Xara Sat next to her and got on her phone.
The pair got into the car and soon they were at the little home/apartment Suri and Xara lived in. Neo trotted up and knocked on the door, while Met skulked behind his brother.
Suri jumped up and unlocked the door as soon as she heard the knock. She smiled at Neo.
Xara stood behind Suri, a smile plastered on her face as she tried to be a good hostess.
Neo beamed back. “Ready? Oh, Xara, I wanted you to hang out with Met for a while. He won’t admit it, but he gets lonely while I’m away.”
Met turned a faint shade of red and looked away from his brother.
Suri nodded and stepped out the door, trying not to laugh at Neo's over-the-top outfit.
Xara rolled her eyes (discreetly) and offered Met in. Great. Now I am stuck here with the grump while my sister goes out with a hot guy. Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts.
Neo smiled. “If we go now, we can catch the movie and grab a bite to eat.”
Met gave Xara a scathing, prickling look, as if he had heard her thoughts over an intercom. He walked in anyway, slumping down slightly to lessen his height. To add to the hot-guy thing, Met was no longer sick, therefore looked more attractive than his sickened state did.
Suri smiled dazzlingly (is that a word?). "Sounds good."
Xara waved to her sister and closed the door, rolling her eyes openly. what did I do to deserve this?
(Indeed it is. Do you mind if Supernatural stuff (not the show) comes into play?)
Neo lead her downstairs to his car, opening the passenger’s side for her. “In you go!”
… |
Met sighed and crossed his arms over his chest, feeling prickily and out of place. “You could at least act like you’re happy to have me here.” Instead of a lofty voice, Met’s voice was lower and more muffled than when she first heard him speak.
(Supernatural is good.)
Suri giggled and slid in.
Xara replied, "sorry, but you're not exactly a happy person yourself, Mr. sunshine."
(Tankksksksksksksskssss because canonically Met and Neo are Mind Readers but I’m planning to just have Met be the Mind Reader.)
Neo shut the door gently and got in at the other side. “Buckle up!” He buckled.
… |
Met shook himself out. “You wouldn’t be either if your twin got all of the attention. And you get sick constantly.”
(Originally, Xara was telepathic, and Suri was an empath. Would that be cool w/ you?)
Suri smiled as she buckled her seat belt.
Xara sighed. "Okay then. I guess. Have you eaten?"
(Sure, but can you explain Empath? (Also I’ve decided I’m giving Met and Neo their canonic powers))
Neo put the key in the ignition, backed out and started to drive. “So! Tell me about yourself.”
… |
“No, but I’m not hungry,” Met brushed off. This was probably a lie, considering how skinny he was.
(She knows what other people are feeling and sometimes she can control their feelings, but only to make them feel better.)
Suri smiled. "Ummm… I was born in France."
Xara looked him up and down. "Uh-huh. Well, I'm gonna make some food, so you can, like, watch tv or read a book or something. I dunno what you're into."
Neo smiled back, actually, he positively beamed. “Really? I thought I detected French in your voice!”
Met sighed and looked around the room, but didn’t move. “You don’t have any books in here.”
Suri beamed back. "Yes, I lived there until I was five actually."
Xara sighed. Why, why, WHY?! "Check the cupboard under the green lamp." She said, cleaning a chicken.
Neo hummed and looked back out at the road. “Must’ve been incredible.”
Met gave her an annoyed look. The extra whys are much unneeded. He walked over to the cabinet, opened it and looked inside. There were a few books that captured his interest, so he grabbed them all.
Suri sighed. "It was. Especially when we visited the city. When my dad was with us, he used to take us all the time."
Xara rolled her eyes. "You like reading, then?"
Neo smiled. That sounds lovely. I always wished I could go to France.”
Met scowled to himself. No shit.
“Yes, I do.” He sat down on the ground, tucking his legs underneath of himself. It looked extremely uncomfortable.
Suri smiled, lost in thought.
Xara was pissed. Be a good host. SMile. Be happy. You are a happy person. Be HAAAAPPY!
Met felt her anger and reflected it back on her, wanting the worst he could possibly be towards her because of that resentment. He picked up a book and shoved his nose into it, starting to read.
Xara finished with the chicken and put it in the oven. She sighed, clearing herself of bad feelings. She walked into the living room. "Look, we got off to a bad start. I'm sorry for being an ass. I'm not sure if your brother told you, but I'm Xara."
