(Lmao yeah pretty much)
Nathaniel walked beside Chris, looking around the city as they did so. He had never really been in a city before, so it was an interesting and new experience for him. He adjusted the coat to make sure it concealed his wings, even though it felt like it was melting him from the inside out. It wasn't a particularly cold day.
Chris lead them over to the sea side of the town. "Wait so is this your first time on Earth?" Chris asked in a low voice, they were getting strange looks.
(Imma leave because I really have nothing to do here)
"Er… not exactly. I fell to earth once. That was the time I crushed my wings." Nathaniel said awkwardly, shifting his wings underneath the coat.

Chris nodded. "But you're not use to this, arent you." Chris lead them down the street until they reached a blue house that stood on the shore of the cove. "My parents aren't home until 6, so make yourself at home!"
"No, I'm not used to it…" Nathaniel followed Chris to the house. "Do you know how long I'll be staying here?" He asked nervously. He was worried that he would never see his home again.
"Well I didn't exactly plan for an angel to be trapped on Earth mate." Chris tried his best to clean everything up so its more exceptable. "Excuse the smell, my father is a fisherman."
"I-I know, I'm sorry for putting you in this position." Nathaniel sat down and looked around, taking off the heavy coat.
Chris shrugged. "Its fine, here eat up." Chris handed him some chicken noodle soup.
"Oh! Er, t-thank you, sir. You're very kind." Nathaniel accepted the soup, beginning to eat it.
"Its the least I can do, its nothing really." Chris said before he disappeared into his room.
I wonder what he's doing? Nathaniel watched as Chris left before watching out the window. Based on what Chris had said, his father would be arriving soon.
Chris came back out with some new clothes and his laptop. "You ok?" He asked as he sat down and opened it up.
"Yeah, just… waiting, I suppose. You said your father would be home soon. I'd like to meet him."

Chris gave a distant nod as he stared at his screen. "Yeah, I guess." He mumbled as he started to type out his essay that was due tomorrow.
"What are you doing?" Nathaniel cocked his head to the side slightly.
"Homework, I have school tomorrow you know, I bet angels don't have that though."
"Well… technically we do have school, but it's quite different. A lot of it is battle training, though. Battle training usually begins at age four, and you're expected to be able to fight by five."

Chris whipped her head towards Nathanial and snorted. "School is so much worse." Chris gave a laugh, his shoulders shaking.
Nathaniel was quiet for a moment. "We're taught Latin as well… and Hebrew." I don't think he understands that young children are being taught to fight to their deaths…

"Oh wait, you're like 8 right? Crap, I won't be in the same school as you." Chris mumbled as he paused his typing to think.
"I'm being enrolled in school? That… makes it seem like I'll be here a long time…"
"Hey we have to make you like you just moved here, mate, it makes you kinda normal I guess." Chris countered.
