The medic had an understudy. Of course, he did. The medic at the base now was older, way older. But that's not the topic here.
Toshi solace, the new but not inexperienced war, medic. Toshi had scars. Loads of them. He had been hit by a shrapnel bomb in his first year in the military. It had cut everywhere, some deeper than others. Though, the worst one was the one across his neck. It had taken his voice. He hated it, utterly hated it. But, he had learned new ways to communicate. Some are silent, others like Moris code, made in small tapped-out increments. This allowed him to talk intently to his teams on spy missions.
This is where you come in. The lieutenant of this boy. You had solely had eyes for him. This attraction had happened when you heard the rumor of Toshi being a silent barracks bunny. But there was a twelve year difference.. Toshi wouldn't go for that would he? Was the rumor even true?
Maybe the lieutenant would have to find out himself.. It's crazy what you'd do for a friend…
