@PuffPoff
He nodded again after triple checking. "We're all set."
He nodded again after triple checking. "We're all set."
"Alright, if any of us get wounded or worse, abort the mission. Let's go." He slid down the dune and onto flatter ground.
Victoria, as per instructed, followed.
Lars ducked as they entered the crossfire. The wind and sand made it difficult to see clearly.
(So how will Vic fake die .-.)
//gets lost in sand
// oooh idea so she gets shot somewhere like her shoulder or leg or something and then gets lost in the sandstorm
(OHHOHOHO NICE)
//yea
Neku muttered a prayer to Elaehi as they dashed through the sand.
The sand stung Lars's eyes. He squinted. "I think we're almost there!"
“We better be! This sand is killing me!” Victoria yelled through the storm.
//now?
(Hold)
The top of the dune was in sight. A hand reached out to help him up.
(Okay go for it)
A bullet came out of nowhere, presumably from a stray shot, speeding straight for Lars. “No!” Victoria yelled, throwing herself in front of the lethal metal projectile. It hit her shoulder, the resulting spray of blood soaking through her shirt quickly.
(Whoa)
Lars turned. He saw Victoria, then the blood. "VIC! NO!"
Victoria, clutching her shoulder, lost her balance and rolled over a sand hill, disappearing into the storm. She felt sand blow into her nose and throat, and, as her world faded to black, she thought, Thank God it wasn’t you.
//did i do ok
(YOU DID GREAT)
"VICKIE!" Lars tried to push past Neku.
//so now we wait
(She's on she's just not responding….)
(…Are you talking about me?)
(Yep.)
Neku caught Lars by the arm. "NO LARS!!! YOU CAN'T GO BACK INTO THE CROSSFIRE!!!"
Lars struggled against Neku. "But Vic's out there we gotta…we gotta save her."
Odin ran up behind Neku and Lars. "What's happening?! What are you guys doing?!"
"We lost Vic she got shot and disappeared we have to find her lET GO OF ME!"
"We're not risking this whole thing because we lost Victoria. Besides, she can handle herself, Lars. She's strong."
