Sure!
Alright!//
James was quiet as he sat in the cafe, staring tiredly at his coffee. He had been working on coding for hours, almost 48 to be specific. He was ready to just end it, but he had a deadline to meet and little time to meet it.
Sebastian stuffed his hands into the pocket of his hoodie, keeping his head down as he walked. His mind was far away, playing the events of the morning over and over again on repeat, making his stomach twist. Oh god what am I going to do??? He didn’t know where he was going anymore, just let his feet lead him from street to street until he stopped in front of a coffee shop. I might as well… Sighing, he entered.
He takes a breath and shakes his head, shutting his computer and leans back, rubbing tiredly at his eyes, as he groans softly. He just wanted to sleep and relax. But he couldn't and takes a breath, trying to calm down. He just wanted to go home… he sips his cold coffee tiredly.
Sebastian breathed in the heavy aroma of coffee and went straight for the counter, eyeing the menu before ordering a chocolate mocha. After his drink was ready, he sighed and found a table to sit down at, running a hand through his blond curls and taking a deep breath.
"How the hell am I supposed to get this in? My deadline is tonight and I just don't have enough time." James mutters as he sits back. He just wanted to strangle something. Specifically himself.
Sebastian's eyes flickered sideways to the boy sitting at the table next to him upon hearing him mutter something. Shaking his head to snap out of it, he forced himself to look away again, letting his eyes fall shut. His mother's shouts still echoed in his head, making him want to clamp his hands over his ears and forget everything.
(should Bastian spill his drink or something?)
Sure, that would work.//
James was tempted to throw the computer, but it was his besdt computer, for both hacking and playing videogames. He sighs and settles down, tapping his finger against the table as he tried to think.
Sebastian's eyes were glued shut, he was too preoccupied with trying to shake the memory of the morning from his head to notice his elbow slipping slightly on the table.
His eyes flew open when he felt something bump against his arm, hearing a sloshing sound and a thump.
James looks up and sighs, before starting to get ready to leave when he heard a few people snickering. They were looking at a boy, rather cute at that, and talking under their breath. He walks over to the kid. "Hey, you okay. Come on. Let's get this cleaned up." He offers a hand.
Sebastian's head jerked up, eyes meeting those of a guy about his age. And a cute one, too. "Yeah– uh– sorry." He took the hand, standing up and grabbing a few paper towels to cclean the mess with.
"No problem." He chuckles and helps clean up the mess. He hums softly as he does so and smiled at the other. "What's your name?" He asks as he throws away some of the soaked paper towels.
Sebastian glanced up at the boy, finished cleaning up the spill. “I’m— I’m Sebastian. Thanks for—“ he gestured to the clean floor “helping me. What’s your name?”
James glances up and smiles. "My name is James. It's a pleasure meeting you, Sebastian. And not a problem. Always gotta help out somewhere." He chuckles.
Sebastian smiled and stood up. “Nice to meet you too.”
He chuckles and offers a hand to shake. "Let's go get you another drink, yeah?" He chuckles.
A blush immediately rose to Sebastian’s freckled cheeks. It’s not a date you idiot! You literally spilt your drink! Shaking the outstretched hand and internally wincing at how weird his hands must seem, he stammered out a response. “Y-yeah, okay.”
He smiles at the other before standing and throwing away the soaked paper towels. "Alrighty." He walks back to the counter. "What do you want?" He asks curiously.
“Oh— you don’t have to pay— it was my fault—“, Sebastian stammered, rummaging around in his pockets for his wallet. “I’ll pay for you.”
He shakes his head. "It's alright. I've got this." He chuckles.
"I don't want to inconvenience you–" Sebastian protested, tossing his wallet anxiously from one hand to the other. He was sure his cheeks were still tinged with pink.
James shakes his head. "Don't worry about it." He chuckles lightly.
Sebastian gave in, slipping his wallet back into his pocket. "Thanks.", he told James, slightly flustered at the fact that a very cute boy was buying him a drink.
(How old is james?)
20//
James nods and smiles. "No problem." He chuckles softly, looking at the other before turning his attention to the woman who was going to take their order.
(okay that works, since Sebastian is 19 turning 20)
"Uhh, could I please have a white chocolate mocha?", he asked tentatively, wringing his hands.
(also out of curiosity, how do you picture Sebastian?)
