What genre of roleplay would this be?
Idk what genre but romance in there because I'm bored and cold
Imao I'm wearing a hoodie and athletic shorts. No coldness here homie
I think I have a character
he looks great! I'll start, lol.
Stella moved her finger across lines of lyrics she'd written the night before in her library. It was late, which meant almost no one was there and she could sing out her songs without much disturbance.
The door to the library opened slowly, and in walked Eli, blinking a couple of times like he just woke up. He looked rough. His clothes were half-damp with moisture that was a mix of water and sweat, his hair stuck out in random places like he had just lived in the woods for three years, and his feet dragged across the floor like he was absolutely exhausted.
"Any computers open?" he asked to the lady behind the receptionist's desk.
"Back there." The lady pointed towards to a spot behind the bookshelves, a couple of shelves away from where Stella was singing quietly.
Back in the library, Stella tried out her lyrics. "I’m kinda scared to go out there, it’s super big why don’t you see
My little self and little friends are what I want - honestly.."
He nodded. "Thank you."
Eli began winding his way through the maze of bookshelves, blinking every once and a while to try and make sure he stand awake. That last night at work was horrendous.
Stella sighed, pushing back her chair. She sat back down again, though, deciding to sing one of the songs she always used when she needed to get inspiration. It helped her stay awake sometimes.
"I chose this thing from the dingy shelf
Because I thought it was meant for me
I rescued it from itself
But it means nothing, apparently
I was going to make this an antique
Handed down through generations
But it’ll prob’ly break within a week
It’s lost all its moral foundations…"
He paused at the sound of the girl singing, peeking around the edge of a bookcase to see who was singing. Surprisingly, the song was waking him up a little, like that first sip of coffee.
Stella felt someone watching her and turned around suddenly, her bright eyes surprising against the dim light of the library. Her hair framed her face in embarrassment. "Sorry…"
He blinked a couple times, then stepped forward so his full body was in view. "Nah, it's fine. It was very good, actually."
"Really?" Stella blushed a little bit, feeling suddenly small. "Thank you. I'm working on a couple songs."
He popped a quick thumbs up. "Keep it up, then." He went back to weaving through the bookcases, ultimately finding the computers and sitting down at the closest one.
"Thanks…?" She asked. She turned back, grabbed a fresh piece of paper, and wrote the title.
'Half-Asleep Encounters.'
She was halfway through the first chorus when she felt something behind her again. She raised her head but didn't look behind her, embarrassed already.
He turned on the computer with a sigh, sighing into it and immediately went onto a job website. No new offers popped up o the bottom feed, causing his to groan silently, leaning his head back.
Stella ignored the feeling and stood up, humming the new tune. Carelessly, she knocked over a stack of books, resulting in a crash.
"Oh!" Her large green eyes creased with worry.
(sorry I'll have to go now! see you tomorrow!)
