//is the conversation like a thing they can turn on and off? like actual talking or hearing all their thoughts?
Angelica wandered the halls of her school, distractedly scratching her arm through the itchy fabric. Earbuds in, she barely noticed the students in the halls, breezing past them all. Her friends weren’t here yet - they were never here this early.
Jaxon could hear music. Man, he hated getting songs stuck in his head. He grabbed his earphones out of his pocket and turned on his own music, trying to drown out the other. The bus stop he was at was practically empty.
Angelica’s eyes narrowed at nothing in particular, it would seem, except for the fact that her apparent soulmate had turned on their own music. To spite them, she turned hers up louder. She didn’t know if that was how it worked, but it was worth a shot. After a moment, she realized she might suffer permanent ear damage and just turned her off, sighing and resigned to listening to their music instead.

After a few seconds of silence, Primrose looked up at her friend and told her she'd see her later. After she disappered, Prim paced around for a second, before walking into the school. She stuck to walking along the walls, still thinking to herself. She stopped by her locker, dropped off her bag, and walked off to her first class.
Ferran sighed in relief. Thank you…
"Thank you." Apparently shutting up was what she needed to do. As she walked through the school hallways, she bumped into a few people, then she pressed herself closer to the wall. Having left her glasses at home again out of embaressment, her perception of space was a little thrown off. Her thoughts wandered off, wondering who her soulmate was, if she'd recognize his voice the first time. She shook her head and walked into her class, taking a seat and starting to read.
Ferran got up and got dressed. He'd be late because of this stupid headache. He grabbed his pack and headed downstairs.
Alex was met with a huge chattering in her head as she walked to school. Can this person ever shut up. She thought angrily as she walked in annoyance and exhaustion.
(Where'd the Party Go?)
