Rose sighed, smiling a bit, then sat back in Angelo's lap once the doctor came.

"Alright. This shouldn't take to long, just try to hold very still." He mumbled, setting up the machine.

Angelo held the other's hand

habiki held as still as possible, his back killing him

After a few more minutes, they were done, and the doctor brought them up on a screen to study.
Angelo squeezed Habiki's hand, giving him a small kiss. You alright?

" just hurting.." he mumbled into angelos neck

Angelo kissed him again, then helped Habiki off the table once the doctor gestured for them to see the results.

"A herniated disk." the doctor said plainly. "It might heal on it's own, but only if you take it easy over the next few months. You'll need to wear a back brace, and I'll prescribe you some painkillers as well."

Habiki nodded, taking the things he needed and letting the doctor put on the brace. He hissed in pain as it was tightened, a few tears strolling down his face.

Angelo quickly pushed the doctor away, untightening the brace and holding Habiki gently. "Hey, hey its okay." He whispered, scowling at the doctor who had hurt him.

Angelo I'm fine, it has to be tight or it's not going to work.." he said after nuzzling into the others chest

Angelo sighed, tightening the brace only slightly and holding Habki close. "Im so sorry…"

Rose came up and hugged the both of them. "Its gonna be okay."

The Doctor just backed away, clearing his throat and checking his notes. "Well, uh, lets schedule a follow up for 2 weeks. I'll see you then."

" alright." He said and took the two out. Habiki did pick up rose and growled if Angelo tried to take her

Angelo growled back, but complied, quickly scheduling a follow up before helping the rest of the group into the car

habiki put rose into her carseat and gave her a peck on the head " thank you for being good rose.." he said and got in the car.

Rose smiled, snuggling into her seat. "You did good, Habiki!"

Angelo was still glaring from the front seat. "You're out for the rest of the season. That absolute…" He turned around, remembering Rose was there. "Idiot… put you out for the season…"

" what?! no way! im not going out for the season angelo! we are so close to the championships!" habiki argued

Angelo growled. "Im not letting you get hurt any more!!" He shouted, starting back home.

Rose had a shocked expression, staring at Angelo with fear.

Angelo looked back, feeling ashamed as his eyes watered. "Please, Biki."

" im not staying out. ill be easier but im not staying out." he said

Angelo sighed, shaking his head as they drove silently. "Just stay safe for me…"

" i will" he said softly

Angelo pressed his lips together, staying silent for the rest of the ride, until he pulled up to the entrance to the mall. "Go ahead and pick out anything you like." He said both to Rose and Kenji, feeling like he had to do something.

Rose got out, jumping around excitedly as she peered at the mall

habiki got out, holding roses hand as the walked across the lot. habiki held his hand out for angelo.

Angelo hesitated, scared he might hurt the other, but decided he was being irrational and took it, siling tenderly. "Where to first?"

Rose looked around, still in awe. "Can I please please get a dog??"

Angelo just laughed. "You already have two!" He joked

habiki laughed. the first in a while. " how bout we go check out the toys?"

Rose grinned, pulling them toward the nearest toystore.

Angelo brightened when Habiki smiled, his eyes watching every detail of the others face. He sighed, still in a daze as he folowed after Rose

habiki looked over his shoulder at angelo, he smiled again

Angelo couldn't help but blush, pulling Habiki closer once Rose broke free to do her own thing.
"Im sorry, mi amor. I am. But… I just love you too much." He mumbled, giving the other a small peck on the cheek.
"Besides that… I think i'm in a bit of a… y'know… rut, at the moment."
