Valentina sat next to Angelo, sighting gently. "Angelo, while Habiki was… displaying his dominance… I got a message from one of his parents."

Angelo's eyes widened as he stroked Habikis hair. "Wh-what?"

habiki stayed asleep, nuzzling into the other as he regained lost energy

Angelo tried his best to release calming pheromones to help Habiki heal, even though he was still new to it. "What did they say?"

Valentina shook her head. "Nothing. Just a location, and a feeling of hope." She looked down at Habiki. "They might be in trouble…"

habiki started to fuss in his sleep, his hand clenching tightly

Angelo held Habiki closer, releasing even more of the calming scent. "Well… where was the location?"

Valentina sighed. "That is where it gets difficult, Mijo. It came from eastern china. And you know I don't have the money to take you there…"

habiki had woken slightly, listening to the conversation

Angelo looked at her with concern. ''I could… I could sell my car, cash in the money I got from our games. I just… I really think we need to go help them.'''

Valentina sighed sadly. ''Mijo….'

" were not going. i cant go back.." he said softly

Angelo rubbed Habiki's back. ''why not??"

" because one, hunters dont forget. im not putting us in that situation. two, im not going to go on a wild goose chase."

Angelo stared at him in surprise. "But… but they're in trouble…"

" ive gotten tugs and pulls like mama has before, ive followed them and they end out with nothing.. no one with open arms for their child. nothing."

Angelo put a hand to Habiki’s back, lovingly staring deeply into his eyes.
“Now, now you have me. I mean, we don’t have to follow… but if we do, I’ll be with you.”

Habiki nodded, nuzzling into the other, " and you don't have to sell your stuff, I do have money from my parents if anything ever happened. "

Angelo nodded, hugging Habiki. "Okay… but I will if I need to."

"thank you mama," habiki said softly

Valentina nodded, smoothing back Habiki's hair. "Well, you boys are welcome to stay and think it over. I think i'm going to go check on Francesca."
She stood, entering the backyard and shifting

Habiki looked to Angelo, " so, what do you want to do"

Angelo shrugged, still stroking Habiki's back. "Well, we're staying here because I hate driving at night, but whether or not we go after your relative is up to you."

" I wanna sleep on it.." he said and nuzzled into Angelo.

Angelo picked Habiki up, kissign him softly on the forehead. "That sounds like a good idea…"

" where we goin?" He asked

Angelo tilted his head. "Well… we could either go to bed now, or go for a little night run"

" maybe a run, but not to far, " he said softly

Angelo smiled, carrying Habiki outside where a hunched over Francesca stood, still in her wolf form. She bowed in the presence of Habiki as angelo grinned. He set Habiki down gently. "I know a great spot in the forest…"
