Felicity snaps out of it. She smiles and asks, "What are we going to do first?!"
"Well, first, Daso and I can show you around the campus, and maybe you can meet some other people as well," Sawyer offered. "Or for the first day you can chill out and we can all watch a movie or something. I hear there are some good ones in the theater."
"I like the latter." Daso said slyly. "The second one sounds like a date."
(sorry i gotta go afk for a while. feel free to move my character around to continue)
"Either one is ok with me." She says, the grin still plastered on her face. She walks over to the window and gazes into the city. ((I was thinking New York City??))
"Not a date." She frowns.
Daso stood up straighter, seeing the discomfort on the girl's face. His smile became a bit sheepish. "I'm joking, of course." He rubbed at his hair. "Want to see the campus? It's really nice."
She smiles, "Sure!" She gestures at him to lead the way.
'He'd be nice if he wasn't so… him' Felicity ponders.
((ponders in her head*
( @writelikeyourerunningoutoftime you there?)
((We'll pick up tomorrow
(Sorry I vanished! Had to get my hair braided. Want to continue or wait for Sawyer to come back?)
((I know she's online
((Let's just continue
(yep im on)
(Okay. Guess we can keep going) "Right this way," Daso said, gesturing over dramatically to the door. "I'll start with a dorm tour."
Felicity smiles and follows Daso. "Come on Sawyer!"
"Coming," she called, grabbing her cell phone from her desk. She followed Daso and Felicity out of the dorm and locked the door behind her.
Daso strolled alongside Felicity. He tried to be casual and smooth, like always, but he wasn't starting to notice how genuinely nice she was. And the fact that she may not actually like the flirting. "So, um, this is the hallway," he said, "it's…a normal hallway."
Sawyer snorted. "No der." She looked over at Felicity. "Here, follow me and I can show you the cool stuff downstairs.
Felicity laughed, "I know what a hallway is, Daso." She walked to the elevator. "I want to know what's out there." She points out the window to the city.
"New York City. The greatest city in the world." Sawyer gazed out the window next to Felicity. "Those buildings are the reason that I wanted to go to college here. They're so beautiful."
"Very" She agrees. "Beat you downstairs!" She says, breaking the moment, as she runs downstairs.
Shocked at the race, Sawyer bolted down the stairs, and despite being one of the fastest girls on the soccer team, Felicity was way ahead, keeping the lead. "Hey, wait for me!" Sawyer called, laughing.
Felicity reaches the bottom, out of breath. "Good thing your apartment is only on the third floor." She laughs.
