"So we're in hell. Explains why I'm still bleeding out. Do you think I could see an evil demon doctor then? I'd like to at least try to stop bleeding." he seemed surprisingly calm about the whole situation, having accepted that he was most likely dead and in hell for crimes of the heart. His vision was going, and he didn't know how much longer he'd be able to stay awake and alert at this point.
"The only doctor I know of is a weirdly flamboyant dentist, in all honesty. And even then, he'd probably not know how to help you- But I think I have some bandage wrap I could use to stop the bleeding," Kamal said, walking off to his closet as he spoke, opening it and pulling out the bandage wrap he mentioned having. "Yeah, here it is," he added, walking over to the other. He just… kinda started wrapping the bandages around them until the wound was completely covered. "You should sit down. You can use my chair. I'll grab some food and water, so to get your energy going again," he once again added. He walked out of the room and headed towards another room, probably the kitchen or something, telling from what he just said.
"Okay, right." he nodded, removing the knife from his back which caused him to bleed significantly more. "Do you have hospitals? I don't quite trust you yet, if I'm going to be completely honest." he said, looking around the room. He got up from the desk and crawled his way over to the chair, sitting down patiently and trying to focus on not bleeding to death.
Kamal walked back into the room, holding a plate with a sandwich on it along with a bottle of water. "I mean, I don't usually have to go to the doctor's quite often, so I'm not sure. I only know a dentist in terms of personally like,,, knowing them, but I'm sure there's at least some doctors around. There's gotta be, right? That's like,,, a necessity right there honestly. And I know you don't trust me, and that's completely fine, but I at least wanna help a little. I also hope this food will help you regain some energy, at least a bit. It's all I really can make on-the-spot," he said, beginning to ramble once again.
"Can we get those bandages, then? Also, a dentist? Is that even a legitimate medical position? Most of what they do is teeth, they don't even prescribe much beyond tooth drops and cocaine. A bit of a pathetic position if I dare say so myself." he shook his head. "And I couldn't even get one to help me with this damned ache in my jaw." he shook his head some more. Basil took the food and began to eat, and soon his eyes lit up. "What is this? It's wonderful!"
"Oh, I agree, it's quite pathetic, in all honesty, even though I myself used to work as a dental assistant," Kamal replied. "And yeah, here are the bandages," Kamal said, handing the other the bandages, and then his attention darted to his phone, which had begun ringing. "Shoot. I- I gotta take this. I'll be right back. Make yourself at home to the best of your ability. Or leave, that's fine too," he said, rambling once more. He then grabbed his phone and answered the call, heading out of the room with his phone held up to his ear. He shut the door behind him after he walked out. While he was walking, his voice began to raise, probably to match the loud voice over the phone. "No, I- Yes, I know I didn't repl- You- Can you calm down for a sec? Thanks. What are you calling me for? Mhm… Mhm… Ok… Well, no, I can't really come to the Habitat right now- I'm… in the middle of something. Is it urgent? I- Well, if it's not urgent, you don't really need me to help," he said to the voice over the phone. His voice hushed down a little halfway through the call.
