So I'm writing a book right now and I'm having horrible writer's block. Basically, there's a sister and a brother. The sister left her brother about a year earlier but doesn't remember doing so. Her memories were replaced with others of her and a whole new family. She begins to have dreams of her brother, then sees him one day as a new kid at her school. That's all I've got…yeah. If you join you will probably be the brother. But I will post a template when someone asks to join.

(can I join)
A couple of questions
Does the brother remember her?
What is the sister's name?

Deleted user

Her brother does remember her, and he tries to get her to remember their old life. (Oh, btw, their parents died so they grew up just them.)
The sister's name is Saffi, she's a character I use for a lot of roleplays.

Deleted user

For this roleplay that can be decided by whoever plays him.

Saffi walked along the street, her backpack weighing her down. She held one strap with both hands and rounded a corner. She could see the school behind a couple trees. "Only five more minutes of walking," she muttered. As she walked her mind wandered to the dreams she had been having, 4, maybe a week in a row now. She could remember every detail. There was a boy, he looked like her. He always said the same thing then disappeared. Remember. She shook away the thought and kept walking, she had reached the parking lot now.

@Poppy

Kastor sat on the bench by the bike racks, reading his copy of the Deathly Hallows, trying not to look up at his new surroundings. He was fearful of making new friends. The only real friend he ever had was his sister. But she is gone now. He tried to read but memories of her overclouded the page. He remembered his sixth Christmas, when she got him the Philosopher's Stone. He couldn't believe how she got that kind of money, the hardcover smooth under the neatly wrapped green paper. He made her a doll, out of an old t-shirt and string. It wasn't neat like her gift but she loved it anyway. She named it Maddy, and brought it with her to the orphanage. He never saw her again.

(I'm sorry but that made me laugh a little, my name is Maddy XD)
Saffi walked the sidewalk with her head down, focusing only on keeping her bag from falling and the contents spilling everywhere. She stopped before entering the building. She had gone here her whole life, but now things felt…different. She shook away the feeling and kept walking. As she walked she muttered to herself.

@Poppy

(how old are they?)
Saffi, is that you? Kastor shook his head. It can't be. I am just imagining; I need to get to class. He picked up his pack, stuffing his book in it. The bag was so full, it was almost impossible to zip. He threw the weighted pack onto his shoulder, taking in a deep breath. He headed to the glass doors, and before opening them, exhaled.

Sofia walked slowly towards the doors, not excited to be at school again. But then again, when was she. Most students hated her for absolutely no reason. She sighed and walked into the school, heading towards her locker.

@Poppy

Kastor looked over his schedule. Science. His favorite class. A smile drew to his lips but he forced it down. I won't be the nerd this year. He signed up for football, even though he has never played. Last year, he had no friends. It will be different this year. He fumbled with his locker, trying to hide his confusion from the crowd of students passing by. "You need help there?" A boy about his age peeked over his shoulder. His round glasses, too big for his face, slid down to the brink of his nose. He pushed them back to his face. His curly brown hair stuck out all over the place. "I'm good." Kastor hinted for him to leave. He didn't want to be seen around these kinds of people on his first day. "Johnny," he offered to shake hands but Kastor didn't accept, "here let me help." He set down his notebooks and Batman comic and grabbed the locker combination from Kastor. "These lockers are always tricky." The lock clicked and shifted before Johnny jerked up and the door flung open. Papers flew out, and scattered the hall floor. Kastor sighed and shoved his backpack into the messy locker. "I guess the person before forgot there stuff," Johnny picked his books up again and started down the long hallway, "See you in the cafeteria." Kastor grabbed his biology textbook and scanned the halls for his classroom. He prayed he wouldn't see that boy again; he can't be assigned into the smart crowd. A fresh start is exactly what Kastor needed.

Sofia arrived at her locker and opened it quickly, shoving her backpack in and taking only what she needed. She paused for a moment and looked at a doll sitting on the top shelf, her mom told her she had given it to her when she was young, but whenever she said that something seemed off. She shrugged and shut her locker, pulling out her schedule. Science she read. That was one of her favorite classes, the teacher didn't treat her like she was fragile. She began to walk to her class and stopped in front of a bulletin board. She read a few posters and stopped at one. Cheer, she remembered signing up, her mom made her. She shook away the thought and continued walking, scanning the hallways for the correct room. She found it and pulled the door open.

@Poppy

Kastor flipped through his notebook; it's new blank pages marked the beginning of a new year. He whipped back to the front as soon as the teacher walked into the classroom. Trailing behind was a girl, who reminded Kastor of Saffi. He turned his head away sharply. It's not her. He told himself over and over it would be impossible if it was her. He grabbed his pencil and scribbled plant classification on the top of the first page. He kept glaring over at the girl sitting two rows down, but he turned away before she could see him staring. It's not her. "Can anyone tell me what a Rudbeckia Hirta is?" the teacher's voice echoed through the columns of desks. Black-eyed Susan. Kastor started to raise his hand but drew back. He wouldn't be the kid with all the answers.

Saffi sat down in the middle of the classroom, opening her books and raising her hand. The teacher called on her and she answered. "Black-eyed Susan. It's a North American flowering plant within the sunflower family," she answered. She loved learning, and most people made fun of her for it. But she didn't care. She scribbled down a few notes, looking from her notebook to the teacher to the board constantly.

@Poppy

The class went on for another hour. Kastor copied charts from the textbook to his notes. He vigorously watched the teacher, trying not to glare at the girl. She kept answering questions, which made it harder for him not to analyze her.
(What is Saffi's appearance? Kastor should be similar so I am wondering what hair color, eye color, etc.)

When class ended she stood up and walked to the back of the room to grab something. Saffi picked up a bag and swung it over her shoulder, grabbing her notebook before leaving the class.
(She has auburn hair, baby blue eyes, she's short (like really short), she has lots of freckles, and she's semi-muscular)

@Poppy

(so I was thinking, should Kastor be 18? Because if he never went into foster care, he is legally an adult now and can live on his own. He is in the same grade as Saffi because he is a little behind in education because he never went to school as a kid. Was Saffi taken into an orphanage where she got adopted? Also Kastor can have more of an older brother protective vibe if he is 18.)
Kastor watched her exit, her blue eyes reminded him of Saffi's delicate eyes, the color of the clear blue sky. He shook his head and exited. He pried his locker open, shoving in his notebook and grabbing his book and a nectarine from his bag. He headed outside to eat his lunch and sat under a tree, isolated from the school. He flipped to his bookmark and started to read. He paused and studied his surroundings before taking a bite of the nectarine. The sweet juice left a tang on his tongue. He wiped the syrup from his lips with his sleeve before diving into his novel.

(Ooo yeah that sounds good. Saffi doesn't know she was adopted (because amnesia crap) but she was. Wait are they in lunch now orrrr?)
Saffi walked to her locker, gently setting her books from the previous class inside. She grabs a journal looking notebook and walks down to the nurse's office. Humming softly under her breath as she walked.

@Poppy

(Lunch yeah sorry if that wasn't clear he is outside eating)
Kastor closed his book and watched the amber leaves swirl in perfect harmony with each other. The crimson blades of the leaves reminded him of crackling fire. He tremored at the thoughts of flames, blazing through the house, smoke, its partner in crime, suffocating all that's left. His mother and father trapped in their bedroom, unable to turn the scorching knob. His baby sister crying, her crib filled with smoke, her frail lungs collapsing without oxegon. His hand over his mouth, hacking at the smoke. His bare feet darting through the flames, racing to Saffi's room. The door hung open, her shrieks echoing through the smog. He clutched her to his chest, covering her mouth from the toxic air. Sprinting to the window, one foot after and another. Tripping over burning frames as the house began to cave in. He crawled out of the shattered window, and fell to the grass as he watched the roof fold in. The firemen rushed to their aid but Kastor would not let go of his crying sister. He was only two at the time but the memory still haunted him.

Saffi walked into the nurse's office, the nurse looking up brightly when she walked in. "Hey…I left my inhaler in here earlier. Do you have it?" she asked politely. The nurse nodded and walked over to a counter, pulling open a drawer, and handing her her inhaler. She said thank you and quickly ran back to her locker, grabbed her lunch, and went to sit outside. She walked outside and saw kids sitting everywhere, but one stuck out to her. She walked over to Kastor, still not recognizing him, and waved slightly. "Would you mind if I sat here?" she asked politely, pointing next to him.

@Poppy

He flinched, snapping out of his daymare, and nodded to Saffi. "Y-yeah, sure. I'm Kastor." He kept telling himself again. It's not her. It's not her. He took another bite of his nectarine and set his book aside.
