It was the morning of the fourth day, and when Kyrri woke up she felt loads better.

She rubbed her eyes, trying to wake herself up. Whatever Anan had given here had worked because she felt great. Sleeping had also helped.

Anan walked into the room and grinned. "Morning. I made breakfast."

“Thanks.” Kyrri replied, giving the witch a smile.

Anan handed Kyrri the plate and smiled back. "You're welcome."

“I still don’t understand why you helped me…” Kyrri said, taking a bite of the food, “Don’t your laws say you have to kill anyone who crosses the border? Won’t you be killed for this?”

Anan shrugged. "Kameryn and I always try to help people when we can."

“That’s how I got Rustic.” She laughed

“But… what about your queen?” She asked quietly.

"Our queen doesn't have to find out." Anan said quietly.

“What if she does?” Kyrri looked up from her plate to Anan.
