Storm walked down the sidewalk, mumbling the lyrics to the song playing on her phone when she smacked into someone. "Yo, dude, watch where you're going!" She snapped, barely looking up. She shoved past him intending to continue walking to school.
Matthew looked confused, he hadn't run into her, she was the one not paying attention. He looked back at her, she looked familiar? "Wait!"
She paused, not daring to turn around. Showing your face when you were someone like her was dangerous. "What?"
"I know you," he approached her.
Oh shit. This could be bad. She scoffed. "Yeah right. Now if you don't mind I've got somewhere to be." She stepped forward towards the school.
"I'm Neal. Neal Caffrey," He said his name at a hush as if someone would hear.
"No, no no." Allistair groaned as he walked a bit faster towards the street he was supposed to take. Construction taking place, the sign read. "Yeah like I can't see that." He mumbled under his breath. This is fine, I'll just take Main, go left on West 14th, and right on 16th. He groaned and turned back in the direction he came from.
She raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Neal Caffery? One of the FBI's most wanted criminals? Please. If you think I'm that stupid then you need to think again. Prove it."
"Why would I lie to a stranger about being a wanted criminal?"
"Because people are stupid like that." She snorted.
"I know you're a gang leader. A normal citizen wouldn't have done this despite common stupidity… that doesn't make sense."
She smiled. "One of New York's most wanted gang leaders, to be specific. And life doesn't make sense. Now, seriously, I need to get going. Being out here like this for too long is dangerous. Stay safe honey!" She winked and walked off to school, strolling into first period a mere half hour late.
Matthew stood there for a second, he needed to find her again, contact her, his career could use a fence and the last middleman left him with less income that he started with. A gang leader? That could work.
(Is anyone at the house?)
(The place in which most of our characters live…)
( Oh together? right-okay )
(Ruby could be in the house)
(It's still the morning… so if you wanna wake up)
Matthew walked home, he had a lot to think about. He walked through the front door to the still quiet house. God they sleep late…
(i mean im at work, i could facetime yall)
Jerome peeked around the corner. "Hey. Why were you up so early?"
~LE TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY CAUSE I'M LAZY AS HELL DON'T JUDGE ME~
The final bell rang and Storm walked out, leaving a trail of chaos in her wake. So a normal day. She quickly navigated her way to the alley, brightening at seeing her girls already there. There were 5 of them. Cali was the oldest at 28. Next was Iris at 25. Talia was Kali's younger sister and 24. Krista was 22 and finally, Lucky was 20. "There she is! I really don't understand why you don't just skip school. It'd make our job a lot easier." Talia commented. "Sorry girls but I can't. Trying to raise as little suspicion as possible." They all nodded. "So, what's today's game plan?" Krista asked. Storm smiled, flashing her bright white teeth. "Oh boy have I got the job for us."
Matthew smiled, "I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep so I went for a walk,"
Ruby rolled over in bed and landed on the floor. She startled awake. "Washaclock…" She muttered, groping about her nightstand trying to find her clock. She squinted at it. Of course the battery had died. She stood up and walked down stairs. "Anyone home?" She hollered.
