“I don’t have much to do either until then,” Thomas said, fidgeting his hands a little bit then smiling as he added, “I’ll be as nervous as heck.”
“I don’t have much to do either until then,” Thomas said, fidgeting his hands a little bit then smiling as he added, “I’ll be as nervous as heck.”
“Oh Madison. Did you want to sit here?” He sat up a little bit.
¨yeah but it´s okay if i could have sat on you¨ Madison said with a smirk.
“That is always an option and I won’t say no,” he smiled.
Madison laughed taking what he said as a joke.
"You could always practice more." Damien suggested, returning to the table.
“I couldn’t do that… I just- It wouldn’t be great. Plus, there’s a dancing scene and it’d look weird doing it myself,” Thomas replied shyly, flicking a strand on hair out of his face. Sure, he’d practiced dancing before one his own, but that was when no one was watching.
Damien's deep brown eyes lit up at that. "You have to show me the dance." He was way too excited about seeing Thomas dance, but he needed something to do until noon.
“But- I don’t- I can’t dance by myself, I’d look like a fool,” Thomas pointed out with his arms crossed. He let out a little laugh, “Besides, my hair isn’t even styled for it!” He only realized how stupid he sounded after the words came out of his mouth, “Well- um- I- There’s a certain hair style, with a lot of -er- braids and stuff, that is, uh, meant for the dance. Kinda, uh, tradition.” He turned a deep shade of red after he finished his stupid explanation. He probably looked like a dork.
"Doesn't matter, you're dancing. I'll dance with you, so compared to me you'll look super graceful." He stated, standing up from his seat and clapping his hands together like an idiot.
Thomas blushed furiously, “Are- Like, are you really sure?” He looked up hesitantly at Damien, trying to keep that excited glint from his eye. He was absolutely helpless after the guy insisted they dance. Together.
Damien shrugged casually. "I mean…why not? Dancing is fun, but you'll have to teach me how to do this special audition dance." He saw Thomas's eyes briefly flicker with excitement, causing his grin to widen a bit.
“Well…” Thomas tossed his apple core in the trash, then walked up to Damien, taking his hands, “Um… If you don’t mind?” He placed one of Damien’s hands on his waist, the other to curve around his back. Thomas then put both his hands around Damien’s neck, making them generously close, enough so that he blushed again as he said, “Well, uh, it’s a- it starts like a slow dance, kinda just swaying and waltzing, then it picks up pace, and uh- well yeah.”
Damien chuckled at Thomas's awkwardness, feeling his own cheeks turn a little pink. "Sounds good." He smiled gently. "Lead the way."
Thomas blush furiously as he started the light sway, humming the sing that was supposed to go along with it. Just close your eyes, pretend like this is it? What would your character do? Thomas let his eyes droop close, leaning into Damien’s warm chest as they swayed and started the dance.
Don't let your face go red. Don't let your face go red. Don't let your face go red. Damien repeated over and over in his head after Thomas leaned against him. His cheeks felt extremely warm and his stomach was twisting into knots. It's just practice for Thomas's audition, calm down. He found himself grinning like the idiot he was.
Thomas slowly let his hands slide to Damien’s shoulders, looking at him through his lashes, voice soft like a blanket, “I’m supposed to spin you now.” He tried desperately to hide the grin that kept on wanting to appear on his face.
Damien just nodded, fearing that if he spoke his voice would come out high pitched and squeaky. The butterflies in his stomach were going insane. "Go ahead."
Thomas led him into a gentle spin, then curled back so his chest was against Damien’s back, going into another gentle sway as he hummed. This was the moment in the play when Thomas’ character revealed his love to the other, then the dance was supposed to escalate. Thomas spun Damien again, butterflies popping in his stomach.
Damien let out a small laugh as Thomas spun him. He was glad that Thomas was leading, otherwise he might fall on his face or stand there not knowing what to do. He bit his lip to refrain from saying something that would ruin the moment, which he tended to do a lot. It also kept him from squealing happily.
Eek! What'd I miss and how can I jump in?//
Thomas twirled around once more, at one point wrapping both arms around the other’s waist, then brought Damien into a dip. One hand curled around Damien’s back and the other on his neck. Their faces inches apart. He quietly breathed, “I’m, uh, supposed to kiss the other person now.”
(everyone is just hanging out and doing their thing)
(Yeah, it’s the morning too so ur character can wake up late)
Damien gulped. "Oh…" He knew that his face was the color of a firetruck by now. "You…can if you want. For practice, I mean." Good lord Damien, you are not smooth.
(whispers I ship it slowly backs away)
“I-“ Thomas just spent a few moments staring at Damien, turning redder every second. “Do you- Are you- Would you be okay with it? For -um- practice,” His voice seemed to squeak a little, which made him want to just slam his face in a pillow. The worst part was when his mouth just continued on its own, “I-I-I never kissed anyone before, I don’t think it’ll be great.”
(XD I love this…)
