He looked down at the ground. "That's the thing. I don't think…I don't want it…" He took a deep breath. "I…it was nice. I don't think it was just practice." Damien clenched his fists, as if that would make the blush on his cheeks disappear. "And if it means anything to you, I don't think you're always a mess."
Thomas furrowed his brow, trying to keep the hope from edge img into his voice, “You… you thought it was nice?” Thomas slowly sat up, “I-I thought it was nice too…” He said quietly, a blush, yet again, rising to his face and he quickly looked away.
Damien did his best to keep himself from jumping up and down excitedly. "So…we both thought it was nice." He sat down next to Thomas, scratching the back of his neck. "That's good, I suppose."
“It is…” Thomas trailed off as he grabbed Damien’s hand. He gently tugged him down, murmuring, “We should kiss again…” Damien’s eyes were like a trance, starry and beautiful. He wished he could just capture the moment, and hold it forever.
If Damien wasn't blushing before, he was now. He let out a small squeak, his heart pounding in his chest. "Okay." That was all he could manage to get out.
(I'm sorry, I'm just feeling evil today.)
Nova got off the couch to check on the boy and saw the door open just slightly. She knocked roughly on the door to get them off of each other. "Ok, you've had your fun, but I would like to not hear some very explicit sounds in two minutes." She pushed the door wide open just to be dramatic before poking in again. "Also, I'm sorry if I mad you feel bad Thomas, I didn't mean it." She added before throwing Damien's pen at him and quickly walking away. She didn't like apologies very much but, she felt like she went to far with the teasing. "
Thomas turned red, and the moment broke before it even happened. He shrunk a little, then turned even redder, “Uh… oh.” He started to wring his hands, one of his terrible habits whenever he got nervous or embarrassed. Or both.
The pen hit Damien's face, causing him to snap out of whatever daze he was in. Mental note: Slap Madison twice, replace her shampoo with glue, then kill Nova. "She needs to stop doing that." He stated quietly.
Thomas blushed a little more, squirming just a bit while he wrung his hands, “Uh, yeah.” He nodded slightly, then looked back up at Damien, “I’m glad she gave you your pen back, though.” Gosh I’m so awkward…
Damien chuckled. "Yeah, that's good. I get super squirmy when I don't have anything to fidget with." He began fidgeting with his pen, as if to prove his point.
Thomas was about to add something else, but a little beeper went off. His nearly sprang off his bed, almost crashing into Damien in the process, “I have to get going for my auditions,” Thomas flipped off the alarm, then ran and grabbed a comb from his dresser, rushingly brushing out his hair.
It took Damien a few seconds to process what was happening, but when he did he immediately stood up and ran to his room to grab his phone. He then raced to where the others were.
Thomas snatched his phone off the counter in a hurry and called to the people who weren’t joining him as he walked out the door, “See you all! Wish me luck!” He couldn't suppress the grin on his face as he looked over his shoulder for Damien.
Damien stuffed his phone in his pocket and followed Thomas out the door, returning the grin. He had no idea where the audition would be, so he just planned on following Thomas wherever he went. He hoped that he had a car or some way to get there.
Nova saw Thomas and Damien leaving, so she decided it was best to let them go together. She hated third wheeling, even if they all were friends. "Madison!" She hollered throughout the house. "Let's go to the movies, I'm bored!"
Madison popped up behind Nova ¨What we seeing¨ Maddison said.
"Christopher Robin." Nova simply put before tossing her backpack and hoodie on.
(I really want to see that movie irl)
Thomas turned and grabbed Damien’s hand without thinking, tugging him down the stairs to outside and where his motorcycle was parked. He sent a grin at Damien, “Do you mind riding a motorcycle? The only reason I have it is because it was cheap, but I know it’s kinda… I dunno, dangerous?” Thomas let out a little laugh.
¨Yay¨ Madison yelled as she grabbed her leather jacket.
"No offense, but you really don't seem like the type of person to have a motorcycle." Damien muttered, staring at the vehicle. "Dangerous is one word for it…do you have a helmet for me?" He tried to hide his fear, not wanting to make Thomas late for auditions.
Nova went down to the garage and into her silver Hennessey Venom Gt she got for her birthday a few years back. She loved showing it off, but wouldn't dare put a scratch on it. "You can choose the music on the way there." She started the engine and waited for Madison to get in.
(dang Nova that's a nice car)
Madison hoped in the passanger side ¨Lets go¨ she said.
