(Who starts?)
(I can I guess)
(please, I'm terrible at starting)
Dylan took off his skates and put them into his bag, switching them out for his regular shoes. He walked into the class and saw Christopher. "Hey!" He waved and sat down next to him. "I didn't know that you took a Mechanical Engineering class!"
Calypso walked into her fist class, Psychology of the Human Mind, 3 minutes early.
"Art class Art class Art class" Lina said every time she passed a classroom, it was the first day and she was already lost "Ugh the class will start in like 2 minutes or so" She said looking at her phone, she wanted to ask someone but she couldn't dare to speak to anyone new
Chris nodded. "Yeah. I want to be an auto mechanic, so I thought it would be good to take this class." Dylan nodded. "Cool. I'm studying to be a Mechanical Engineer, so taking this class is kind of a given." He chuckled. The teacher walked in the class and began talking.
Calypso slipped into a seat by the window, smiling at the only person in the room, a tall African-American guy with a shirt that said: ‘Got no time for your racist bull***.’
"Oh great I found it!" She said looking at her phone Just in time. She opened the door and entered the class "You are just in time young lady, the class is about to start so take a seat next to Ellen. Ellen please raise your hand" The teacher said, Lina looked around the class, she was the last one too enter the class, her face started to heat up, no no no plz not now She thought. A girl raised her hand, Ellen.
“Hey.”, Calypso greeted the guy, who smiled and came over to sit next to her. “I’m Damian, nice to meet you.”
“I’m Calypso. I like your shirt.”, she grinned. Damian laughed.
{First day and I'm already late} Quinn thought as tied her curly blond hair into a messy bun. She grabbed her backpack and textbooks. Quinn rushed to the door of her dorm room, slipping her flip flops. Her phone read 8:34.
{I'm never going to get there in time. . unless. .} She turned around and grabbed her skateboard. In a few minutes, she was at her class.
Damian smirked at her. “You Australian?”
Picking her skateboard up, Quinn walked into the class, busying herself with fixing her hair. Everyone seemed to already have a seat, so she decided to sit down next to a boy with sandy blond hair. Quinn plopped her bag down and sat.
Dylan wrote notes the whole class, constantly looking up at the teacher. Chris, however, spent all of the class doodling.
"Hey, I'm Jason." The boy said, flashing a bright smile.
"Quinn." She replied, grinning. The boy wore a hoodie with High School Lacrosse, his wavy hair wasn't brushed unlike all the other guys in this class. "You play Lacrosse?"
"Yeah," Jason said, looking down at his hoodie. He looked back at Quinn. "You got that from what I was wearing, eh? And you. . . I bet you're one of those California chicks." Jason motioned towards her skateboard and flip flops.
Calypso laughed. “How did you ever figure it out? Is it my eyes or my heights that gave it away?”, she said sarcastically. “No, it was your accent, although your eyes are pretty too.”, Damian grinned flirtatiously, leaning forward to rest his chin on his fist.
"Yep, that's me." She sighed, turning towards the teacher as he began to talk. During the rest of the class, Quinn took notes on all the new concepts of aeronautics.
Towards the end of the class, Jason nudged Quinn as the professor continued to talk.
"A few of my friends are going to the arcade later today." He started. "Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to come too? You could bring some friends."
Quinn nodded. "I'd love to. I have a few friends in mind."
As the class came to an end, Damian approached her. “Hey.”, he said casually, leaning against the wall. Calypso raised an eyebrow, trying not to blush. “So… You wanna hang out with me this afternoon?”
Class ended. Dylan stood up with Chris who smiled at him. "See you at practice!" Dylan exclaimed, putting his skates back on and leaving the class.
Calypso blushed. “Sure. What do you have in mind?”, she asked, trying to stay cool. Damian shrugged. “There’s a restaurant by the beach.” Calypso nodded, blushing harder.
As the bell rang, Quinn slipped her backpack on and grabbed her skateboard. She started down the hallway towards her next class, Jason walking beside her.
"So, uh. . ." He started. "What do you have next?"
"Math." She replied, turning towards him and brushing a strand of blond hair behind her ear. "And you?"
"Same here." Jason grinned. "Mind if I walk you there, Sunshine?"
