Sure, that sounds good! I might change my character up too since I've been working on a new girl OC, but I can stick with Axel if you'd like to do that?
Either way sounds good to be honest haha
Lmao, I might try her out then. Are you okay with LGBTQ RP's (just want to check xD)
Yup!

Sorry this took so long.
Name: Kalei Teller
Age: 18 ¼ (She’s constantly keeping track)
Height: 5’7
Sexuality: Bisexual (Leans towards women)
Looks: Kalei had constantly dyed her straight hair new colors, though now it has faded back into it’s darker brown tone (Still has a bit of a pinkish tint to it from her last dye) that is cut bluntly above shoulders. She doesn’t pay much attention to it, though it’s usually pulled back into some sort of style or just down. Her skin is more of a tanned tone with faint freckles across the bridge of her nose and shoulders. (Hawaiian and Italian heritage) Kalei’s eyes are an almond shape and are a hazel tone. Faint vitiligo on her hands that she tries to hide with long sleeved shirts. Has a scar on her jaw and on her bottom lip from an “accident” in high school. Kalei also has a couple small tattoos, though her favorites are the Argo tattoo and a quote.
Clothes: Usually in a more retro style, with old band and Star Wars shirts. Usually in jeans and her beat-up converse. She always has doodles or paint on her jeans and hands as well.
Occupation: Works at the bookstore, though she wants to write a novel of her own.
Personality: Kalei tends to be a bit quieter and observant when first met. She can be a bit hostile and sarcastic, and can push people away, but once she opens up, she’s a free-spirit. She loves to laugh and joke around, though she doesn’t take great care of herself. Puts others in front of her own needs at all times. Once she really cares about someone, she’s very protective and gentle.
Backstory: Kalei had been abandoned at a young age and in foster care, leading her to get into some trouble with other kids with alcohol and smoking. (I’ll elaborate on this later)
Fears: Kalei has a fear of being abandoned or losing the ones she loves because she couldn’t help them. Scared of being alone.
Other: Tends to quote books or philosophers. Loves Greek mythology.
(Omg I love her and she'd fit Hazel so well!!! Ok, do you want me to start?)
(Aw, thank you! And sure, if you'd like to.)
(Alright)
Hazel cast her gaze over the large selection for books in front of her. They ranged from the traditional, worn classics, to the crisp and clean covers of newer novels. Spotting an unfamiliar cover, she picked up and began reading the inside flap of the hard covered book. Something about the smell of the pages in new books just added to it. She never was the biggest fan of most mythology, but the one in her hands sounded quite intriguing.
Kalei ran a hand through her dark hair in an attempt to fix it as she grabbed a few novels that belonged to the historical section of the bookstore, rubbing her eyes tiredly as she did so. It had been a bad idea to stay awake so late last night, but at least now she had learned her lesson. A small yawn escaped her as she shook her head faintly at herself, making her way towards the area as she spotted a shorter brunette with a mythological book that she recognized. "That one is quite good," Kalei spoke up, a small smile crossing her face as she began to sort new novels, glancing towards the girl.
Started at the voice, she nearly dropped the tome in her hands. Looking around a moment, Hazel saw a tired looking girl placing books into their places on the shelves.
“Have you read it before…?” She asked hesitantly.
"Well, I don't have a lot of friends, so I have quite a lot of time on my hands to read books," Kalei answered a bit quickly, smiling faintly as she glanced over at the girl before slipping one more novel onto a shelf and turning towards her. "I'm Kalei Teller, and you are?" She added gently, careful not to startle the girl with her faster speaking pace.
Hazel stood in silence for a moment before giving her response. “Oh, uhm Hazel Brixton…” she said. She normally would have played with the hem of her shirt due to anxiety of ruining a conversation, but with the book in her hands, she simply held it tightly.
"Beautiful name," Kalei replied, as she studied Hazel for a few moments, hoping that her own hair wasn't a mess. "But…the book, yes. I've read it and it's very good," She added, nearly losing her train of thought as a small smile crossed her face. Why are you getting so nervous…
Hazel felt her cheeks warm slightly at the compliment. She felt her anxiety creep into her mind again as she pushed a strand of hair behind her right ear.
"Good to know," Hazel responded with a small nod. Man, she was so bad with conversation.
"Do you usually come here? If you have, I can't believe I haven't noticed you up until now," Kalei spoke up over the small pause of silence, willing herself to come up with something to say as she tapped her fingers on the cover of a book out of habit. It was true that Hazel was really cute, and it was almost a surprise that she hadn't spoken to them sooner.
Tucking the novel under an arm, she rubbed the back of her head nervously.
"Every now and again. It's usually between here and the library," Hazel replied.
"The library is really nice, though most of the librarians dislike me," Kalei answered, laughing softly as she glanced down at one of the crystal bracelets, hoping that the aventurine was going to bring her any luck in the conversation. Her parents had pretty much been hippies and from them, she took the belief of crystal healing and properties.
"Why? You seem pretty nice to me…" she stated. Hazel felt odd taking the step to be a bit more outgoing, but she was speaking the truth.
"I'm supposedly a bit too loud, and they get worried when I dye my hair bright colors. I'm apparently 'giving the children too many ideas.' Whatever that means," Kalei explained, stopping when she realized that she was rambling. A small, embarrassed smile made its way to her face at Hazel's compliment as she shifted on her feet, leaning a bit against the bookshelf instead.
"I think it looks quite pretty…" Hazel responded. A moment later, her cheeks warmed, worrying that she embarrassed herself already. Some chance of talking to people. With this, the small girl looked away and clung to the book in her arms.
"Thank you," Kalei answered softly, a faint blush making it's way to her cheeks as she watched Hazel turn away, hoping that she hadn't made her feel uncomfortable. "It's faded back to it's normal color, but I'm planning on dying it again sometime," She added on, motioning to a few strands of her darker brown hair.
Casting a quick glance up at Kalei, she looked at the ombre from brown to a pinkish tone. To avoid being rude, Hazel nibbled on the inside of her lip as she continued looking Kalei in the eyes. Hazel… just like her name. Gosh, they were pretty. Realizing that she had made an awkward silence, she gave a hum and did her best to smile. It was a bit difficult in the moment because her mind was such a mess and jumble of thoughts.
Kalei studied Hazel for a few moments, a faint smile crossing her face slowly as she studied their beautiful green eyes and the glasses framing them. She remembered all the times she had wished that she could have eyes like that. A small silence hung between them before Kalei cleared her voice and tried for something. "Do…do you want to go out for some coffee sometime? Unless you don't like coffee, which is fine of course," She proposed, stopping herself short when she realized that she was nervously rambling.
