"Fine…" Bree whines as her stomach growls. She treks into the dinning hall quietly, snatching a plate and stuffing some food into it. "wingardium leviosa," Bree uses wandless magic clumsy, barely keeping the plate balanced behind her. Breanna hears people calling crude comments from across the hall. But instead of rising up to meet their challenge, she hung her head and walked to the Slytherin common room.
Aimee entered the Great Hall with her wand in her boot. She sat down at the table, next to some people she knew, but she wasn't really friends with any of them. Her Quidditch friends weren't there yet, so she sat at the table quietly, picking at her food.
Bree pulled down a muggle book called Six of Crows and promptly started to read, hours passed as people came and gone before (pick it up)
Darian was laughing with his friends when suddenly the entire hall became quiet. He looked up to the see the Headmaster of Hogwarts waiting for their attention. "What was going on now?" He wondered. (Pick it up)
The whole room hushed down and Rose couldn't help but wonder what was happening. She turned her head in the direction everyone was looking and saw the Headmaster. She immediately silenced herself.
Aimee wondered what the Headmaster had to say. The kids at the Hufflepuff table were all focused on the person standing in the front of the room, and the entire room was so silent that you could hear a pin drop. For some reason, silence seemed to bother Aimee, growing up in a loud neighborhood. She always had to have some noise. She shifted in her seat, uncomfortable with the absence filling up the room.
Adali sat in the library, studying for her Transfiguration test next week.
Hazel, who had previously been taking a nap, began making her way to the Great Hall as she was late for dinner. She was confused to find that the usually loud room was deathly silent. She pushed open the door and a couple of heads turned towards her and the Headmaster's eyes met hers knowingly. She bowed her head slightly and promptly made her way to the Ravenclaw table. Once she had taken her seat, the Headmaster began…
"The House Cup Tournament is once again upon us. (from a very potter musical :') ) In 24 hours a Goblet will be brought into the middle of the great hall." He paused as the gestured to the middle of the hall. "Unlike the other years, Sixth years will also be allowed to join. There will be One Champion for each house; Slytherin, Ravencalw, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Now, May the feast begin!" and with that plates full of illustrious dishes appeared on every table. The Hall once again filled with noise of wondering students.
(( OMG YASSSS ))
(YAY!!!!!)
Hazel felt a series of emotions rush over her, confusion, excitement and even a hint of anger. Her main thought being 'does this mean that Quidditch is cancelled?!'
(oh noooooooooooo, pls don't say Quidditch is cancelled T^T)
A huge explosion of cheers erupted from the Great Hall, distrupting her peace and quite in the library.
Alright, what is going on? Adalie asked herself.
(if we don't want quidditch to be canceled it wont be canceled dw)
(( phewww ))
(YAY!)
Darian smiled, he was without a doubt going to be putting hid name in that cup. He told as much to the friends around him. All of which cheered him on and placed bets upon whether he'd get in or not. Before indulging in the magnificent meal, a new goal in his mind.
24 hours later he strode into the great hall, his squad trailing behind him. As he walked up to the cup the hall was silent, but as soon as he put in the slip of paper inscribed with his name, everyone cheered, he grinned as some of his friends patted him on the back. They went to sit down at the Ravenclaw table.
Bree headed toward the feast, unlike last night, and noticed something off. There was a huge goblet located in the room. What is that doing here, Breanna thought, Is it the House Cup Tournament all ready? Bree quickly scribbled her name down on a piece of paper, walked up, dropped it in as the Slytherin's glared, and left. These people already hate me, I don't need it worse.
(Wait, how are we going to do this???? I thought only one person would be chosen from the whole school and other schools come in too. Are we just going to change it to one per House? Idk. If not, I wouldn't mind just move my character to another school and have them come for the tournament if needed)
(It said one from each house, I thought that would be nice so that none of us have to move)
(Oh oops I didnt see it, thanks!)
Rose was extremely excited. She was most definitely going to put her name in. She had heard about this tournament from her father, who was a participant once when he was still in school.
The next day, also the first-day people could start putting their names in, Rose ran to the great hall holding a piece of paper with her name neatly written on it.
The first person to put their name in was a Ravenclaw, he walked up, dropped his name in, and everyone clapped and cheered.
The next person was a Slytherin, the Slytherins glared at her, but the rest of the Houses cheered.
Rose observed them until there was an opening. She quickly stood up and strides down to the cup with confidence. Without hesitation, she dropped her name into the cup. Everyone cheers; she smiles and walks back to her friends.
Noticing that no one from Hufflepuff had gathered the courage to drop their name in the goblet, Aimee stood up strongly and marched to the cup. Writing her name on the paper beautifully, she tossed it in the cup and watched it flutter down.
Aimee hoped that the goblet would choose her, she had everything it took to win. But the other students that had walked up to put their names in all looked confident and bold.
As Aimee walked back to her table, there were a few cheers here and there. Not as much as the other students had gotten, though, and that one thing had brought her spirits down.
