As far as the love affair between Ivan, Rosella, and James….
Ivan will do anything for Rose, he plans to kidnap her ( and his Rper can do so on multiple occasions), his intentions are scandalous ( have fun with that one). Rose is kind to Ivan, although he's taking over the world, Rose attempts to convince him otherwise, and is oblivious of his affection for her. Although James and Rose's love for each other is true. Ivan tells himself that James is the reason he want all the world. He plans to destory James so Ivan can gain his gem and become more powerful than the guardians.
