"Oh um." Alex said slowly. She made it hover aa bit in mid air and made it hover above her palm. "Yeah I might not take that chance." She replied and returned it to Sam.

"Can't you make tea?" Maddie asked Oliver.

"But, if this can make tea on demand, imagine what we can do with it." Oliver answered excitedly as he looked over at Maddie.

"On demand tea is rarely ever good," Maddie said, "it the time and preparation that separates tea from hot leaf water."

"True, true." Oliver nodded, glancing at the runestone in longing. He wanted that on-demand tea. After a few moments, he turned back towards Maddie and grinned, taking her hand. "But, you're the best tea maker. I couldn't ever replace you."

Oliver nodded, realizing that Maddie wouldn't have any of his family to meet. He was just an orphan, without parents or a background. "I'm sure that they're great."
