(Ben is 18… and… Gtg)
(Yeah, I should probably check this stuff before asking.)
From up on the roof of one of the buildings, Shia peered down through her hair , to spot a young boy and girl talking. She turned invisible, and slowly wafted down to them, landing silently a few meters away. They couldn't see her like this, so she watched them, curiously.
Nicole heard talking up ahead. She carefully leaned on the side of a corner, listening. Their voices were too quiet to hear. Guess I’ll have to play it casual., she thought. Nicole walked up to the people talking. “Hi. Are you guys lost?”
(Sorry, I had to leave but I'm back now. Here's my character:)
Name: Eve Knopik
Gender: female
Age: 17
Sexuality: straight
Appearance: Long, blonde hair that is slightly curly. She likes to dye the ends different colors and she has bright green eyes. She has a broken stitched together heart tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
Personality: she hates big groups of people and she can be really rebellious. She speaks her mind whether people want to hear it or not. She doesn't care what other people think.
Other: She's good with hand weapons and combat. She'd rather hit first and ask questions later.
(Alright. Nice characters! I won’t be up late this week ‘cause of ISTEP.)
Shia became intangible, and loomed around all of the humans present, even the new runt that had appeared.
Will squinted at the people who had just approached him.
"uh… Maybe?"
He shuffled his bare foot. He wasn't ready to reveal too much to the overtly friendly people who just approached him. Normally, he thought, people wouldn't even give me a second glance. This seems shady.
“Maybe?”, she smiled.
"It's a yes or no question," added Julie. She wasn't sure who's side she was on, but it seemed like a good thing to say.
"Yes and no," he confirmed. "I'm just disoriented–I'm sure I've been here before." he paused, but quickly picked up the line of conversation again. Today has been rough, to say the least." He laughed, one of those laughs that people try to wrap their insecurities in, but they still poke out all over the place.
“Oh. Need help or are you ok?”, Nicole put a look of concern on her face.
"I think I need a chance to get my bearings. What part of town is this?" Will didn't want to ask for too much, not yet at least.
"We're east of the downtown area, near the library." Julie said.
(I have to leave this RP, sorry)
“Yeah.”, Nicole confirmed. “I always hang out near the library, but it’s closed now.”
(That’s alright. Why, if you don’t mind me asking?)
(I don't always have the time to reply, and I'm not really in this RP so it wont matter)
"Which library?" Will asked. "There are at least 20 on the East Side of town alone."
To himself, he muttered, "crap. I was in the far north of Downtown… how did I end up in the east?"
“The Roosevelt Library.”, Nicole responded.
"Yeah. Where are you headed, anyway?"
"thanks." He had never heard of that library in his life. "I'm hoping to get back to my house; well, my dorm room." It's in the North, Cadell's College of Engineering Technologies." He figured that was still broad enough. These people didn't seem too shady.
(hey is this city based off of any in real life, or is it just some fictional city?)
(Fictional, I guess.)
"How did you end up here, then?" Julie asked, surprised.
(No clue?)
“Oh. Nice. I go to Blackwood University. I’m studying meteorology and atmospheric chemistry. I want to become a storm chaser.”, Nicole was telling the truth. It was a dangerous job and she was up for it. “Blackwood’s just a few blocks away.”
"Wow," said Julie, smiling. She didn't share anything about herself. She was still in high school, of course, but they probably thought she was their age.
