(Hop I'm however, they are all at the ice cream shop and theo is waiting to get ice cream)
(Oh ok! Thanks!)
Ryn let out a laugh, although his smile was relatively melancholic.
“But don’t go finding a new buddy to soon,” he said, holding up a finger. “I might be able to arrange something. It’s never a definitive ‘no.’ Plus, I’ll have you to look after her while I’m gone, hmm?” With the last sentence, he looked down to Mochi, smiling.
Mochi blinked open his eyes, flicking them over to where Hachi was. He gave a small playful growl, that soon developed to a challenging yip. His tail wagged furiously, bumping against the table. Ryn reached down, patting his head, and giving a small cooing “shh, buddy.”
Damen giggled at how cute and playful Mochi was. Then he looked at his watch and noticed how late it was getting. "Well, it was a pleasure meeting you Mr, Ryn, Please consider this job offer and if you want to contact me here's my number." He quickly scribbled his number on a napkin and handed it to him.
"Call me anytime, Mate." His British Accent really shone through that sentence for no apparent reason other than to show readers that he was British.
“Alright, thank you,” Ryn said with a smile. It was nice to have a surprisingly nice perfect stranger. Refreshing even.
“It was nice meeting you too,” he called, sitting back in his chair and patting Mochi gingerly on the head. The dog couldn’t see very well, so he looked from Hachi to Damen, then back up to Ryn to find the source of the pats. Ryn just gave a small laugh, ruffling his fur.
Theo brought the ice cream back to Lemona and noticed a pair of people talking and decided to introduce himself. "Hello, I saw your dogs here. May I pet them?"
“Absolutely,” Ryn said with a charming smile. “He’s a nice boy, so don’t worry. The worst he’ll do is love you to death.”
Mochi got up, almost bumping his head on the table and waddling over, tail swaying frantically as the new face approached.
"Yeah sure." Damen patted Hachi's head to let him know that someone was going to pet him. "He's a working dog, so he won't bite." He reassured the man.
Hachi made his way over and began sniffing the man, making sure he wasn't a threat.
"They are adorable. What are their names?" He looked at the owners. "I should ask your names as well."
“Mine’s Mochi, the smaller mop of a dog,” Ryn said lightly. He watched as the dog sniffed the new man excitedly. “And my name’s Ryn, nice to meet you. Seems like I’m making a whole lot of new friends through you, huh buddy?”
He looked down with the last sentence, cooing the words at Mochi. The dog didn’t seem to register them, still attentive to the new face.
Theo stood up and grinned at the happy dog. "Theo, but my friends call me Mint." He responded
(Sorry, I've been doing stuff-)
"This is Hachi and I'm Damen." He introduced himself to Theo as Hachi continued his investigation on the strange new man.
There was a swish as the door to the ice cream shop opened. Eliza ducked into the shop, groaning quietly as she saw the line. She knew she should have come earlier to avoid the midday rush. Ugh, this is gonna take forever… I guess I can wait… Although Eliza hated crowds, she knew it would all be worth it. Soon enough, she’d be seated on her leather couch in her lonesome apartment, enjoying some cherry ice cream while watching her favorite 80s movies. She stepped in line, pulling down her hood and letting her dark red hair fall over her shoulders.
Lemona was resting his head on his arms, eyes closed and hair fluttering with each little breath he made. Yep, he was asleep. He was always tired after training and the class today was particularly tiring. Jump spins always were.
(is this still open?)
