(YAS GOING FOR THE GAY CAFE THING!!)
Adrik parked his motorcycle in front of the small cafe, swinging his leg over one side, and keeping his black helmet tucked under his arm as he stuffed his keys inside of his pocket. He opened the door, with his now empty hand and walked in, being welcomed by the bitter smell of the coffee.
"Good to be back." he said with a small smile, plopping down on the small stool placed on what you could call a 'stage' grabbing his old guitar he quickly tuned it, deciding on what song he should sing first while he tuned the beautifully hand made instrument, occasionally flipping his head to get the long hair out of his face.
Hazel heard the noises of someone fumbling with a guitar and looked up from her book. She recognized the boy from previous visits at the 'gay cafe' She recalled the name Adrik and wracked her brain for a recent memory. He hadn't been here in ages. Shrugging, she looked around once more for her date. With no one to be seen, she returned to her book.
Adrik grabbed the microphone from the stand with a single hand while keeping hold of the black guitar in hand. Reaching under the neck of the guitar he somehow managed to flip the on switch, and clearing his throat, he spoke into it.
"If anybody has any request, write it on a slip of paper- which can be found on the counter- and place it inside of the jar-which can also be found on the counter- and i'll get to it as soon as I can! It's good to be back!" He said, looking around and finding a few familiar faces.
Michael stumbled into the cafe, smelling a little like weed. He was tired, and had almost gotten over his last breakup. He slid into a table seat near the guy playing the guitar
Mitchell walked into the cafe, beyond exhausted and craving a coffee. He flopped over at a table, barely able to hold himself up, let alone walk over to the counter to order something. His long hair was covering about a quarter of the table, and he let out a noise of frustration.
Name: Esha
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pan
Appearance: Shortish, mousy brown hair, unnoticeable in a crowd
Personality: Quiet, but people find she understands them well
Fun Fact: Reads tarot cards for fun
Esha glanced around the cafe with some amount of trepidation. She was never one for loud and crowded environments, and while this cafe was by no means overwhelming, it held a certain energy of sociability. Better just to order and leave. However, as she neared the door, she heard the string of a guitar tuning. Curious, she instead found a small empty table to sit at, and pulled out a book to deter strangers from talking to her.
Michael got up, writing "Zombies by Missio" on a small piece of paper and putting it in the singer's suggestion box before ordering a massive coffee
Adrik's dark brown eyes scanned the room, landing on the two newcomers, nodding his head in greeting to them. He growled a bit in annoyance as his hair fell in his face again, so he pulled it up in a bun.
"Honestly why did I think it was a good idea to keep this?" he grumbled, scratching the back of his neck before starting ' The Light Behind Your Eyes' his voice carrying throughout the cafe, closing his eyes he relaxed, moving his head as he moved his fingers to the correct places for the chords. He tapped his foot lightly on the ground below as he continued to sing.
"So long to all my friends, every one of them, met tragic ends-"
Mitchell smelled coffee nearby and lifted his head, looking at a guy with a very large coffee. He noticed that this dude smelled a bit like weed. "Hey, can you buy me a coffee? I'll give you the money for it." He asked. "I can't fucking get up."
"Uh, yeah dude. What do you want?"
Hazel slammed her book shut. her date clearly wasn't turning up, and she was craving coffee. She headed towards the counter and ordered her usual. striking up a conversation with a girl sitting nearby, watching the guitar player.
"He's really good, isn't he?"
"Like…. 15 shots of espresso."
"I got you man. I know the feeling." Michael turned and ordered the extra coffee, handing it to the tired guy when it was finished. He debated going back to his seat to brood like some sad emo, but decided to sit down with the tired guy. "Here you go," he said, pushing the caffeine-packed coffee at him
"Oh thank fucking jesus," he said, giving the guy some money. "You are literally the best thank you so much." Mitchell chugged half of the coffee within a few seconds before putting it down. "I'm Mitchell, by the way."
"Uh, Michael. Nice to meet you I guess," he said, taking a swig of his coffee
"Same," he said, chugging the rest. "Sorry. I know this is kind of weird looking but I run on coffee. Not sleep." He leaned back in his chair and looked out the window.
Once the song had ended, Adrik placed his guitar back on the stand, walking over to the counter his back leaning on it.
"Can I get a black coffee?" He asked, shoving a generous amount of money on the counter, obviously not caring enough to count it. Once the coffee was done, he took it, thanking the barista who nodded in return. He stood on the stage, placing his cup of coffee on the stool before looking through his old folder of music that he had left behind.
"Nope…Nope…that's for drums…ah! Guitar, there ya go!" He murmured to himself, chewing on his lip as he concentrated on finding the correct sheet music.
He placed the folder under his motorcycle helmet, and taking off his leather jacket and placing it ontop of both the helmet and folder, his tattooed arms and hands being shown off, the muscles in his back moving as he turned to sit back down, moving his neck side to side until he heard a satisfying 'crack'. (Okay that kind of sounded gross) Taking one last sip of his bitter drink, he placed it on the amp next to him and grabbing the guitar from the stand and playing the next song.
