(IT makes me cry almost every time ;( poor geeky boi)
"Thanks! It means 'dark' in Russian, I thought of how my last name 'Gethen' means shadow, so when I was choosing my name I just thought it sounded cool."
He smiled, watching as Michael play with his necklace.
"Really? My roommate is Russian," he said, taking a bite out of his scone. "I got stuck with the most unimaginative name. How creative is Michael Gray?" he laughed
Adrik chuckled, running his tattooed hand through his long black hair out of habit.
"Well, I'm not Russian I'm Italian, but, I just thought it sounded cool." He said, smile still etched across his face,
"I think Michael is a good name! Michael is one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible." He added, head tilting to the side a bit, a few strands of hair landing in his face as he did so.
Michael looked off to the side at the mention of angels. "Yeah, parents were Catholic. Or pretended to be at least." He moved his hair to the side a little so he could drink his coffee, the bangs over the right part of his face falling away for a moment
Adrik smiled, "Not very religious are you?" He asked, eyebrows raised.
"Neither am I, my parent's where though, they kicked me out because their precious daughter was going through a Phase and She was Pretending to be a boy." He scoffed, rolling his eyes a lazy smirk finding it's way to his face.
"Honestly, so far I am a MUCH better father than mine, he said I was Unnatural and that I should be ashamed of myself." He added, lifting a hand to scratch his cheek, letting it flop onto his lap afterward, slouching down in the booth, legs spread (….( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)….)
(oh my god lol) Michael gulped a little. This guy was way out of his league, but he seemed to be flirting..? With him? "I, um, I feel your pain. My parents run this big corporation, and the deadbeats kicked me out for being bi, among other things," he said, absently running a hand through his bangs
"Yeah that sucks," Adrik sighed, sitting up a bit, quickly changing the conversation before it could get too depressing, "Hey dude, can I get your number?" He asked, quickly reaching for his phone and typing in the password, sliding it across the table, not waiting for an answer.
Michael felt his face go a little red. "U-Um, sure." He took the phone, having to tap in his number a few times before getting it right. He slid Adrik's phone back to him before taking his out. He opened it and brought up the contacts. "Can I get yours?"
Adrik turned off his phone, stuffing it into his back pocket, finding Michael's flustered state adorable.
"Of course!" He said, waiting for him to hand over the phone, his amused smirk still on his face as he watched him struggling.
lmao i love how Mitchell is just like…sitting there and existing…probably watching this whole thing go down xDD
(I have no idea where Jensen is but I think that's an accurate description lol) Michael handed Adrik his phone. "So, um. I liked your singing earlier. I don't think I've heard some of those songs before."
The brown eyed man quickly typed in his number, all while responding, "Thank you, music is my passion-" he handed back the phone- " The song 'The Light Behind Your Eye's' is by My Chemical Romance, it's on their Conventional Weapons album." He said, lighting up as he talked about music.
"Ever since I was little I was trained to play Violin and the stand up bass, as I got older I began to play drums, guitar-both electric and acoustic- Electric bass, ukulele, and piano. Sometimes I write my own stuff, but other than that I just do covers." At this point he was sitting up straight, leaning on the table, a large smile spread across his face.
Michael grinned, taking his phone back. "You like MCR too? It's one of the only things I can sing or play without sounding like a total wipeout."
Adrik smiled, "Yeah! I love them, i've been listening to them since I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love honestly, Frank Iero is how I figured out I was gay in the first place!" He joked, "I went to three of their concerts-and let me just say- they are hotter up close!" He gushed, remembering when they where actually together.
Michael's grin somehow got bigger. "Lucky! I always wanted to go see them in person. God knows I had the cash before my parents kicked me out, but they wouldn't let me. Said it wasn't good for my image as the 'future head of Gray Enterprises.' Sucked ass, but I've had the cash to go to a few Vance Joy and Nothing More concerts."
"Dude, are you into Falling In Reverse? Panic! At The Disco? What about Set It Off?" Adrik began 'fan-boying' bobbing his leg up and down in excitement, waiting for Michael to answer, mind racing, ready to talk about his favorite bands and people.
Michael laughed. "Of course! You can't love MCR and not like Falling in Reverse, Panic!, and Set it Off!"
"Ohmygodyouareperfectmarryme!" He yelled, still excited-or even more than before if that's possible- practically jumping out of his seat, eyes wide.
No? Ok
I mean…not my roleplay thingy so…i can't say…
(yeah not mine either) Michael's face went red, and his grin widened. "Buy me a coffee first."
A look of determination crossed his face, quickly pulling out his wallet.
"How do you take it?" He asked, dropping his act a few times, laughing at himself as he struggled to pull his cash out.
Michael's eyes widened. "No, no, it's okay! I think I've had three already," he laughed
Adrik stuck out his bottom lip, scrunching up his eyebrows and giving Michael a sad puppy look, widening his brown eyes and tilting his head for emphasis, before slowly sinking back down in his chair jokingly.
He sighed, replacing his kicked puppy look with an over exaggerated frown.
"We where gonna wear rainbow bow ties at our wedding." He whined, "And My Chemical Romance was gonna show up…"
