"So how has life been in general?"
"So how has life been in general?"
"Yeah and girls too," Kenzie looked around the room, "I had a feeling that Peter wouldn't work out… One moment, I've got to get my coffee." She gets up and quickly pays for her latte. Taking a drink on the way back to the table.
"Life is.." Tokyo pondered. How was she doing? She had been so caught up in business, she rarely checked in on herself.
"I'd like to think I'm doing okay, just really stressed with my career."
"No one works out for me. I'm destined to be alone!" Kam patted Kenzie's head as she returned to the table, "Well, as long as we're alone together."
"What's your number?" Clara asked.
"Hey, watch the flowers," she says wile pushing his hand away from her head and the daisies in her hair. " and don't pull the destined crap you just have to find the right person."
Tokyo almost spat out her coffee. This girl was actually attracted to her!
"Um," Tokyo fumbled for a scrap piece of paper in her purse. She tore off a chunk of a receipt from a fabric store and wrote down her number. "Here." She handed Clara the paper, still blushing.
Clara took the paper and handed Tokyo a business card. "My number, you can call me whenever you like."
Kam retracted his hand, "You're right." he shot a glance at the people around the room. "Make a move on one of them? Which one?"
"Well," Tokyo smiled. "I'd like."
Tokyo mentally screamed. Why can't you be normal?

"Are you trying to get me to make a move or chose your target?" she started looking around the cafe doing her best to cold read people who might be interested.
"Choose my target. You're a good judge of character. How did you know Peter wouldn't work for me?" Kam took a sip of his hot chocolate.
"His gaze wander around more than it should have when you weren't looking." Her eyes looked from person to person, "It wasn't hard to tell that he wasn't serous about the relationship." she locked on to a boy who had his hair dyed white and it looked like his cup of coffee was not going to be the last. He seemed close enough to Kam's 'type'. "That one," she said pointing at the boy, "he seems interesting."
"Would you ever want to come over to my place?"
"That doesn't sound too bad," Tokyo smiled, sipping her drink. "And then maybe we can go clubbing another day.
(I gtg seeya!)
(Bye!) "Clubbing?"
(guess who ships Kam and Chester now)
(guess who ships Kam and Chester now)
(so I'm not alone)
"Interesting? I guess. But um, I can't just walk up to him." Kam stared at the boy, trying to catch something. "I didn't know I had a type."
"Alright, I might have chosen one of my types for you, but you asked my option and I think you will have good luck." She smiled turning back to face Kam, "As for talking I'm sure you can figure it out or you can just pay for his next cup of coffee."
"Crap, no, never, can't do this, I want to go home." Kam eyed the boy nervously. "I'm a fricking goth who makes poisons in his houseboat and he looks like a preppy college student who studies really hard and makes friends all the time." he pointed to his eyebrow piercings. "The emo is literally dripping off of me."
