Skye sat on the park bench, enjoying the crisp, fresh fall air. A light breeze flipped a couple of pages of her book, and she sighed as she flipped them back. After a moment of searching for her spot, she found it again and continued reading.

Kendall sat on the curb next to her motorcycle outside her stepdad's shop. She pulled her jacket tighter around her as a breeze blew through, ruffling her periwinkle hair.

Chakuro pulled his wings tighter around himself, looking at the clock.

Rene finally spotted Skye at the park. She breathed a sigh of relief, then ran over. "Skye! I've been looking everywhere for you!"

Skye glanced up from her book. She blinked as the other world faded away to be replaced by the park.
"Oh. Hey, Rene. What's up?" she asked, searching for her bookmark.

Cogsworth waddled down the grand hallway leading to his master’s bedroom, knocking tentatively on the door and opening it slightly. “Master?” He asked the darkness quietly. A roar resonated around the large room, and Cogsworth quickly shut the door and waddled back down stairs, passing Lumiere on his way and muttering, “Don’t go upstairs today.”
