Estin sat at his table, smiling and signing autographs. A little girl dressed as Piper came up and ran straight at him, before her mom caught her. Estin laughed, and offered the little girl a
Hug.
//pretend he’s in line or something
Cassian was slightly embarrassed that he was doing this, but he stood patiently in line to have an autograph from the actor who played Jason, his favorite character.
A little later, Estin looked up to see the next person in line and locked eyes with Cassian’s steely-blue gaze. “…don’t I know you?”
Cassian raised an eye brow, “Um.. I don’t think so?” He snorted, “I would remember if I met a famous actor.”
(^scoffs^)
“No, I know you…” he said, frowning. “Anyways, what’s your name? And what am I signing?” He started smiling again.
“Cassian. And you are signing…” Cassian said, reaching into his backpack, a blush crept up to his cheeks. This is embarrassing. He pulled out a purple hoodie with the golden words ‘SPQR’ And ‘Camp Jupiter’. “This.”
“Nice to meet you, - …Cassian,” he said, eyes widening at the end. He glanced down at his wrist and remembered a video he made just before he’d become famous. He’d met a barista during it… named Cassian.
“Yeah I know it’s kinda a weird name.” Cassian said, blushing, he hated his name. He nervously combed through his hair with his right hand, messing up his brown hair even more.
“No, wait, it’s not that,” he said hastily. He scrawled a signature onto the edge of the shirt and quickly said, “How long are you staying? Can I see you later?”
“Um… I…” Cassian said, blushing furiously, thinking, “Like 30 minutes?”
He checked his watch. “I should be finishing up in around 20. I’ll see you in the theatre?”
“Um… I guess?” Cassian said, picking up his sweatshirt, still blushing furiously. “Bye.” He said, quickly walking off.
^spongebob voice^ twenty. minutes. later.
Estin gathered his things and hurried off to the theatre, checking his watch constantly. Most people had cleared out by this point, but a few were still around and he was stopped on his way by fans multiple times.
Cassian avoided being ran into, which was really hard because everyone was running in different directions.
Lsorry, I’m busy.” Estin lost track of how many times he had said that already. Finally, he reached the theatre and looked around for Cassian.
Cassian stood there, embarrassed that he was actually waiting.
“Cassian!” He called, relieved that the boy had showed.
“Oh uh. Hi.” Cassian said, forgetting what the actor’s name was.
He exhaled and tried to think up a way to word this properly. “What’s your name?” Like your real, full name.”
“That’s creepy.” Cassian snorted.
“It’s important,” he insisted.
“Still creepy.” Cassian shrugged.
“Is it this?” He asked, pulling the piece of cloth tied around his wrist away. Eyes hopeful, he showed Cassian the name.
Cassian Atlas Auden
Cassian stayed silent, he sharply inhaled. Cassian glanced behind the actor, his right hand traced the name on his left wrist.
Estin watched him subconsciously shift his hand over his wrist. “It is, isn’t it?” He asked softly.
