"Very well." Indra says. He releases him.
"Very well." Indra says. He releases him.
Axion caught her breath momentarily. “It’s- Its Axion.”
Erica once again rolled her eyes. ”this alley leads to my house. What's your name?” she asked ignoring the other thing the girl said.
Pity touched his own face gingerly. “I-um… thank you. Do you need me for anything?”
The creature starts rummaging around the village, looking for prey, finding none. Indra races across town, staying in the shadows to avoid it.
Brook blinked back her surprise at their present destination and tilted her head to the side as they walked, an amused grin working its way across her face. "You don't even know my name and you're permitting me as a house guest." She stated, mild disbelief clear in her voice. "It's Brook."
Axion caught her breath momentarily. “It’s- Its Axion.”
Keri nodded and stepped to the side "here is the chaos i call my home," She looked around and set the cat down, trying to not wake her up. She pulled out her knife and took her bow off her back, turning around to face Axion, she saluted "well, it was nice to meet you Axion, but i have a giant centipede to kill…. see you later?" not waiting for an answer she took off, leaving Axion there with her cat asleep at her feet.
”well I did learn your name before you actually went in, ” she said stopping in front of a door. She took a key out of her picket and Unlocked her back door. ”plus I've known a lot less about someone and let them in.” she opened the door revealing her tiny one room house there was two beds a small couch. In a kitchen like area there was a table with nothing but medical supplies on it.
Axion picked up Kathia and held her close to her face. “How do you do it Kathia? Your so chill.” She wraps Kathia in her little blanket and swaddles her like a baby. Axion then sits crossed leg as Keri took off to fight a demon.
"That doesn't sound creepy at all." She mused to herself, though her tone sounded more amused than genuinely creeped out. She looked around the room she was currently standing in, oddly feeling a strange sense of familiarity with its tight space. "Nice place, though. Reminds me of mine."
Keri dashed through the streets, doging people left and right. She stopped by a building very near the centipede and watched it, waiting for any break or chip in its armor that she could shoot an arrow into.
Kathia starts squirming and jumps out of Axion’s hands. “What’s your deal?” Kathia then runs around Axion like she did Keri.
Erica smiled slightly. ”hey I'm the doctor's assistance people come to me when they are hurt but can't afford the doctor,” she explained. ”oh I don't think I ever told you my name. It's Erica.”
"Good thing I've got a twenty on me, then." She spoke as she patted her back pocket. "Erica, huh." She repeated, mostly to herself. Her gaze traveled to the area which she could only assume was being used as a storage space for all of her medical supplies, given the large amount. "So, Erica, not that I'm on a tight schedule or anything, but exactly how long do you think that freak outside is gonna rage on for?"
”who knows. But I sort of have a plan, ” she said Biting her lip slightly. She walked over to a closet and cleared the mess covering a safe. ”umm by any chance do you know how to use a gun?” she asked before I'm unlocking the safe.
Keri finally found a chip in the centipedes armor, it was right behind its first leg on the left side, but she needed a distraction first. Keri thought about it for a few seconds and sighed, no one would volunteer to be bait she shook her head and waited for a different chance.
Axion followed Kathia over to Keri. “Oh hi.”
She sees the centipede. “OH HI.”
Keri looked at Axion and laughed "that's the first thing you say when you see a giant centipede?
Axion looks annoyed at Keri. “How else did you expect me to react to that?” Kathia jumped on to Axion’s shoulder.
(k, i gtg to bed, sry)
"i don't know, it was just funny, considering its a giant centipede." Keri glanced at Axion and quickly petted Kathina.
"Does shooting a water gun once in my childhood count for anything?" Admittedly, it was the only area she was familiar in, even if the fundamentals were a bit different. But it couldn't be too different from that, could it?
(Night. I am going to hit the hay as well.)
”well I guess we’ll have to wing it, ” she said as she took the gun out of the safe. She held it like it was a disease.
"Do you even know how to use it?" She asked, looking between the other woman and the weapon in her grasp. With the dainty way she was holding it, one would think it was practically festering with bacteria.
“I know the basics from watching others and I shot it once. But I haven’t touched one since,” she said trying to tighten her hold on the weapon.
