Silver thought for a second and remembered the mysterious jewel that was shot into his chest the day sullivan died

Hiro walked away, still coughing. “ it will pass” she signed

"Ok" he said getting her some water "drink up"

Hiro followed what he said “ it happens to elks every year. I always got hit the hardest” she signed.

Silver sat down in the other room

Hiro went to her room and put a mask on. It was contagious to humans. And even deadly.

Silver got concerned for her safety

Hiro looked to silver “ I’m fine. Just taking precautions. Better safe then sorry” she signed

"I know but I'm still worried since the scientist that did this to you is roaming freely" he said

“ yeah.. but he knows better then to start crap with me. “ she signed. Hiro started to cough again.

Silver massaged her back in hopes it'd help her or at least calm her

Hiro smiled. Though it was hardly visible through the mask. “ thanks for trying but I’m alright. You relax, quit worrying” this time she traced the letters on his hand. It being a bigger sentence she’d thought I’d help him.

"fine" silver said sitting down next to her

Hiro snuggled up to silver. “ you know. I’m the last survivor of what he did..”

"yes I know" he said

“ he might have forgot by know..”

"I hope" silver said

Hiro sighed. She closed her eyes, falling into a well needed nap.

Silver carried her to her bed and layed her down

Hiros markings glowed as she slept. Her breathing was surprisingly silent, her chest moveing up and down slowly.

Silver monitored her

Hiro’s vitals where low, her bp was high and her body temp was lower than normal.

Silver didn't freak out but read on the sickness to understand it

The sickness was caused by blood infections, causing the elks heart and lungs to slow. It lowers the body heat, forcing the infected elk to rely on a light or fimilar for a heat source. In severe cases the elks heart could stop, they lose there voice or hearing, and can even inhibit magic usage for a short time. First signs are cough and loss
Of heat, sometimes will force elks into a heat period to produce needed warmth.

Silver closed the book and went over to her and raised his body heat
