Long ago, during the birth of the world we know, elements were born. Only the strongest in will and mind could obtain and hold these elements. The first elementals chose their hosts, some bouncing from one to another, others staying with their hosts, making them immortal. But war soon began to rage between the elementals, people choosing sides, elements raging against each other. But peace could be brought back to the once prosperous earth, if, and only if, the elements could see eye to eye once again.

Khalidah opens his eyes and sits up. He looks around, brown and green leaves stuck to his face. He couldn't remember anything. Just his name. He was in a dark forest. He could somehow see perfectly well, as if he were in bright sunlight. He looked at his clothes. He had just some gray, striped pajama pants on, revealing his faint abs, and a silver arrow armband. He stared around looking for something to cover himself with. He then saw a piece of black cloth hanging over a nearby limb. He walked over to it and hesitantly poked it. It fell off the branch, startling him. He instinctively crossed his arms in an X in front of him. Shadows quickly surrounded him. When nothing attacked, he lowered his arms. The shadows melted away. He saw that the cloth was a long-sleeved shirt, sloppily stitched together from various pieces of black fabric. He put it on. Then he noticed a pair of black daggers and a belt. He put them on too. As he was admiring his new attire, he heard whispers. He drew the daggers as if he had done it a thousand times before. He crept over to the whispers. They stopped. He spun around, trying to find the source of the voices. Then, Khalidah saw a mask floating in the air. He looked around some more before snatching it out of the air. He pulled it on. Even though it appeared to have no eye holes, he could see perfectly. He then saw a blue glowing trail. The whispers were back! He ran after them.

Breeze was wandering around the forest. The grass was wet and cool with morning dew underneath her bare feet. She looked to the sky and thought about the past 1,700 years. Breeze supposed she was lucky that she remembered everything, but she didn't think of it that way. It just meant she remembered the pain of… Not today. I'm not thinking of her today… She shook her head and continued walking along.

Draven hums as he sits on top of a darkened, dead, and scorched tree. His bright blue eyes gaze around the burned area, his arm draped over his leg in a kind of playboy position. He smiles a bit, relaxing as he slowly floated to the ground. Chaos was rich on battle fields. Making him feel strong. Powerful. He was wearing a simple black body suit, his scythe in his hand as he walked around, past the dead, past the injured. Not that any of them could see him. Only elementals could see each other. He sighs softly, seeing a small child on the ground, whimpering and crying. A young female. His eyes soften. He had always been a softie when it came to kids. He walks slowly towards her, kneeling before her, saying softly, "Sleep, little one. Let you have peace in your heart." he whispers, placing a hand on her forehead. She falls limp as he picks her up, carrying her towards a peaceful village and leaving her there. He hums, hissing in pain before leaping into the air to find more sources of chaos.

Kera glanced around the city, walking through the dark of night to the walls. She had lived there for a month before it had been laid under seige. Now, the once beautiful city was in ruins and the people in mourning. Only Kera really knew what they were here for, or rather who. To have a mortal elemental was a wanted thing, but she was not going to let them have her. Kera was instead going to look for the other elementals, the powerful, immortal ones. Not the weak ones like herself. Upon reaching the walls, Kera removed a rope and grapnel from the bag over her shoulders. Quickly scaling the wall, she hopped down into the woods surrounding the city. Setting off, she wondered what the hell was step 2.

Zoe sat on the docks of the calming lake. Water rippled around her legs with the breeze rifiling through her hair. Here she felt powerful. Here she could get away from all her problems including the accident. Stop thinking. She scolded herself.

@ShadeStar

Breeze felt the wind rush through the forest. She smiled playfully as it took her high into the air. The wind took the form of a dancing partner and the two danced across the sky. If mortals could see Breeze they would think her to be strange. However due to her elemental status she was invisible. A pang of sorrow shot through her. The people she cared for, the children she left food for, they would never know it was Breeze. Frowning the wind returned her to the ground where she sat in a field of flowers miles away from the forest she was in.

Zoe decided to jump into the water. It felt even better. Everything was so mystical and calming. She swam down the the bottom where all the fish and plants were and hung around there.

Angelica quietly sat in the flower meadow, listening to the birds, and letting the occasional wind play with her hair. It was so peaceful. She liked it that way. She sighed and looked around, everything was a green or a brown, with dots of lavender, yellow, and pink. It was so pretty. Angelica hummed quietly as weaved her flower crown. She wished the whole world was as peaceful and blissful as this.

Kera had been walking for hours before she saw the figure dancing through the sky, she stifled a gasp. This must be an Elemental! but the figure danced away. Kera raced to keep up, but she kept tripping over roots. Finally, she lost the dancing figure. Kera wanted to cry. But she didn’t. She kept moving. As the sun began to set, she found a lake to camp by.

Zoe sensed that someone was near the camp. She surfaced up to face the person. "Whose there?" She asked softly.

@TreeQueen

Kera jumped to her feet with a gasp as a girl surfaced from the depths of the lake. “Um, ah, my, um, my name- I’m K- Konnie.” She winced at the sound of her voice, any idiot could have told that it was a lie. “Sorry, im just passing through.”
