"Amara and I have no leads. We have no idea how many elementals are hiding or how to find them." Ignis sets his shake down as he goes through a list of papers he unfolded from his pocket, "And we may have even caused more good than bad for once. But regardless, there are still two seals untouched and the open three we need to close. Arcanis may be dead, but the Shadows are only getting started."
Amara gets up and takes the papers from Ignis's hand, "And although I do not approve of you two numbskulls killing a Shadow leader, It did help. I have reports of a scout named Rais that humans are becoming possessed. It seems….there was a hidden seal Arcanis managed to open."
"Rais?" Ignis questioned, "the water elemental?"
"Yes." Amara spoke, "He's rather fascinating with his abilities."
"hmm well I remember the only way I found you and Marlin is by recognizing your voices. I can hear the elementals voices sometimes, I can't control it though." She sighed.
"The one we fought, his name was Rais? Interesting, think we can get him with us?"
his 'abilities' okay then. No amara would never do that. She sighed rubbing her face at the thought. Her brain really wanted to ruin her life huh.
"He's already on our side. He was a scout to Arcanis, when he was purified, he gladly offered his services to us." Amara spoke. Ignis smiled as well, trying to not seem tired, "Yes. Amara will meet with him and some other scouts later today."
"well that's a good thing I guess." She finished off her milkshake. She looked at Amaras reaction to the part of her going to meet with him and a few other scouts, noting how tired Ignis was. "you sure you don't want any extra company Amara?" She asked her with a lifted eyebrow.
"You can come if you want," Amara smiled, "I mean it's just reports and planning."
Ignis laughed a little, "And I will be doing a few errands around the building. Today it may seem more army, but this is our normal for a while."
It's almost like choosing which person to go with in a game or do I go with the cheap option and be lonely, annoy Ignis or accompany Amara?
Well. I could go with Amara and investigate this Rais person and maybe devoplp more with Amara or I could stay back with Ignis and possibly get closer….why is this such a tough decision.
"Hm. Amara when do you leave?"
Amara smiled as she began to walk out the door, "In a sec, just have to get some things first. And Igi?"
Ignis leaned towards Amara, "Yes dear?"
Amara smiled without looking at Ignis, "I call your bulshit. You did errands yesterday."
Ignis laughed as she left. Amara giggled, she knew he was just going to rest. Ignis left Kali's room, "Hey Kali?"
"Yeah amara?" she tilted her head just a little bit. she got up from where she was sitting, "wait…i haven't changed my clothes in three days..ew."
Ignis grabbed Kali's attention, "Hey Kali, could you do me a GREAT favor?"
????? "Um depends on the favor???" she kinda confused but just rolling with it.
"This is gonna be fun!" ignis closes the door and locks it. he then opened a door way to the seventh floor, "Come."
for a seonc i thought pulled her into a room or like a closet, a dark room and me and kail boh went ops my heart went atdyejrdjr after realizing no such thing happens she just follows him. just trying to bechill and not ya know die.
Ignis walked to an unmarked door and opened it, not too long after Kali was attacked by the two pups. Ignis smiled, "Would you take Yin and Yang with you?"
"when i go with amara?" she held the two pups close and looked at ignis, "i don't know if I'm going to go was just wondering what time she was leaving. if i do go with her i need to at least change first. also Ignis, thanks for donating blood for me." this would be the perfect moment for a cheek kiss and she wishes but alas, she will not kiss another woman man.
"I didn't say with Amara." ignis smiles as he leans in the doorway, "Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure Yin and Yang would be thrilled to go with you. And don't mention it. I owed you after uh…my attack. Think of it as my apology. I owe you so much, Shadowcast, stubborn as you are."
"I guess the company would be nice," she smiled down at the doggos. "I accept your apology, however i hardly see how you owe me anything, i haven't done much really and feel as tho i have been a bit of a burden and a third wheel." she mumbled the last parts.
"Ha!" Ignis snaps, "You tried to…forcefully help me, refusing to go even if it could get you killed. In Shadow form, demon form…you never gave up. I can tell there's something off about Amara, but you would still respect her even if you didn't like her. Plus, the pups like you so that's enough for me."
He got close to Kali, looking at her in the eyes, "You're not a burden. We helped you get revenge on your step dad. We let you stay here. We aren't changing our minds, you are always welcome here."
"yeah well i didnt really care if i died then, but when i was bleeding out i found out i don't actually wanna die, i knew you were in there anyway. I think your demon form is amazing." she didnt really know how to react so she just stiffened a bit while he talked about amara.
"Well its good to know im welcome here but couuld you maybe back up a little bit?.." she was a bit flustered looking away from ignis and her words werent exactly clear and could be misheard easily, the last part at least.
Ignis backed up but before he did he nudged Kali in the shoulder playfully. Amara walked in and saw the pups snuggled against Kali, "Have you decided?"
(i was kinda hoping he would mistake her saying get closer -^- its fine tho-)
she was using the dogs to hide her flustered face, "Um i guess i will just come with you!"voice crack as she rushes with the pups away from Ignis and out of the room.
Ignis waits for the two to leave. He takes in a deep breath as he falls to the floor in pain. He tries his best to keep the pain a secret by couldn't help it, "I…must…win" he quietly whispers
Amara takes Yin from Kali and hold him in her hands, "I'll take this one!" She playfully states. She couldn't help but notice how close Kali and Ignis were when she found the, or how flustered Kali was. She didn't think too much into it, she knew Ignis was faithful, "What were you two talk about?"
"N-nothing out of the ordinary," she laughed nervously, she disliked lying but i just came out this time, plus the reason she was so flustered was her ears only. she sped up a bit walking speed wise, glancing at the apartment when they were outside.
Amara grew suspicious but didn't care. "Alright, the scouts should be near the broken seal of Astra."
