(No. She's his girlfriend.)
(No. She's his girlfriend.)
(no it was fine i just didnt understand who was saying it too and i kinda forgot the was there, all what do you mean in time to save kali? sorry for so many questions-)
(Sorry for being vague. Ignis told Kali that if she killed her step dad, she'd become a Shadow. Whether you want to accept it or not I have storylines for both choices. )
(thats what i thought but you never know-)
(oop-she didnt mean to kill him- also I'm curious about the whole shadow thing-)
(maybe jus pretend like she didn't kill him yet? i have a feeling she will kill him later but I don't know what I think about the shadow of vengeance thing-)
(He's dead. And Ignis thinks Kali did it. If you didn't kill him then I have a plan for this scenario.)
(A Shadow is a being with darkness in them. Not the kind Kali has, but one born of anger, depression, or negative action. Humans and wildlife are not powerful enough to be a high ranked Shadow. Ignis walks a very thin line everyday due to his shadowy past.)
(can the whole shadow of vengance be reversed or once you go down the pathyou cant come back?)
(also you don't have to share the plan with me but I'm intrigued now what the idea may be)
(dude i feel like kali is gonna end up walking a thin line as well.)
(Shadows can be purified as Amara did to the water elemental from the phone store ambush. Shadow of Vengeance is a high ranking title, but no different from a regular. Many of the Shadows have gained their negatives which can not be reversed like Ignis. Also did Kali hear what Arcanis said, since she was relatively close to them.)
(I wasn't going to tell you. keeps you guessing.)
(cool dude. well even if kali dosent turn she would be walking a thin line. so were jus going to go with the whole they think she killed him but didn't thing?)
(Yup.)
(also this is really cool how much effort and backstory you have behind it all. i think its awesome and I'm glad I could participate-)
(Well only Ignis thinks that)
(well hes about to get confronted.)
(Go ahead)
she clenched her fist at Igns's words, she wanted to punch him but when she turned to look at him. She saw how bloodied up and damaged he was, she immediately unclenched her fist. she watched go up the stairs and she shadow traveled to him, wherever he was hoping he wasn't in the bathroom. She summoned pain killers just in case. She stared him down, "What do you mean, 'im no better then him'?" she tried to see his hands how badly they were wounded but she couldn't see so she she got closer to him.
Ignis spoke low and cold, "You are stained with his blood. He treated you like hell. But you killed him…"
Ignis was in the second floor, first room with the door opened. He stared at his hands as Arcanis's words haunted him. He felt easier to have beat a tree instead of leaving Amara. He didn't feel angry at Kali, however, rather himself. He felt like he failed on protecting an elemental from falling into the Shadows. He watched as he bled slowly, not wanting to heal. He was also worried for Amara. He knew Kali's pain and Amara took it. It flooded her heart with all that chaos. To share the memory of a terrified man begging for his life but killed him. Ignis felt all of this pain and claimed it. The room began to burn, fire set all around the room. It didn't spread, it just burned. It was blue.
"I dont know what you think you saw ignis…but I didn't kill him. no matter how much I want o kill him. I didn't. I may close to tipping over the edge…but when was I not?" she got closer to him, infact despite the flames she gripped onto his hands, his bleeding hands. she inhaled and exhaled before doing the same thing she did with amara, she healed his hands. she summoned a cloth, and started whipping the blood off of them, then placed the pain killers in his hand. "for any remaining pain…i know it can help emotional pain. Were all in tight situations…we all feel horrible….i think that if we all stick together and pull each other from the darkness into the light just a little bit, we might be able to make it." she didn't say any of this looking at him, rather looking away from him."She needs you…i understand if you cant go to her, I will comfort her I just…. wanted to make sure you hadn't died or anything major."
The painkillers burned in Ignis's hand, however the flames vanish wherever Kali stepped, only to reappear after. He saw how much Kali tried in comforting him, this made his eyes return. However the flames remained blue, "I- Listen, you haven't given me a reason not to trust you… Just tell me you know in your heart you didn't kill him. Your fall could destroy what is left of this world. Daughter of darkness…I- I can remember her…"
(cant* to* maybe*)
She looked up at him, holding onto his hands. "Okay so you remember the last daughter of darkness, so what? shes in the past now, she is old news and I'm the daughter of darkness now. It sucks to suck, but she has to beat it." she said this all with confidence and her old kali spark. "You say i can destroy whats left of the world if i fall? well how about what would happen if i didn't? You and i both know how much i suck at this so come on. wheres the overwhelmingly postive and cheerful ignis? My peptalks wih only get worse ya know. I will hug you." the hug part seemed more like a threat then anything but she was trying her best. "all i know is i wripped off his arm, and i smashed his head and threw him ino a wall but he wasnt dead after that. we both saw him alive. so i think thas solid enough proof to prove i didnt do it."
"No. I remember the original." Ignis smile weakly, "When a man creates a negative, it's like tearing your ancestors away, but I remember their lives and how they lived them. How scared she was. How Fire and the others treated her. What Light…did to her." Ignis looks up, his eyes showed kindness, "When I saw it happen to you…It…reminded me what your ancestors went through. What Shadows truly meant to be." The wounds on his arms and hands began to heal as he took a deep breath. The flames began to take shape and move as Ignis closed his eyes, "They all lied."
"What light did to her was awful…." she agreed to that one part, watching his arms began to heal and noticed that she was still holding his hands, she didn't let go of acknowledge the fact that she didn't let go and just continued to le him talk. "What do you mean they lied?"
