Ignis held his head down, feeling something familiar yet foreign, "No more killing… " The tension in his heart…was anger.

She shrugged Evans hand off and let out another sigh as she saw that Noel was shaking her head at her brother. She knew they wouldn't want to do it.
She just had a feeling about it, from the way they acted. They were smart about most things, didn't act on their emotions as much as she did.
She ran a hand through her hair as she moved away and over towards ignis. It was clear she was irritated, but she was also incredibly out numbered on her opinion.
Evan just sighed as well, wishing he could get through to her first once without being pushed or shoved away.
Alister sighed as well. “We can’t get distracted by this now. We… can’t let him be apart of us anymore.” He nodded to Noel, who smiled only faintly. “Honestly I’m surprised he isn’t dead yet.”
Astra looked between them and shrugged. ”I see. Well, I suppose he deserves to die slowly and alone anyway. Just thought I’d let you know.”
“Hmph.” Noel crossed her arms. “Let him die in his own filth.”
Ignis felt his anger wither away, "I will not stand for death. That was Ignatius's wrath, not mine. I cannot deliver his will anymore. I am the fire elemental now, let my flame lose its heated fury."
Alister's head snapped up. "This isn't about you, Ignis." He was quiet for a moment before he realized what he said. "Oh… mm." He would not make himself apologize or explain himself, not for that. He did not feel anger, not quite, but something smouldered in him for a moment or two.
Ignis's eyes looked up, keeping his head down, "No. It isn't." Ignis held his tongue. Keeping his mind together, he slowly walked out of the room. Before he left, he gave one more look at Astra. In a low voice he whispered, "I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused in the name of vengeance. In the name of a dead elemental. In anger…" He gave one last look around, then he walked away.
Kali Was quick to follow him out of the room, not caring much to stay if he wasn't going to be there. She didn't feel like she would be able to contribute much anyways if she did stay.
Evan sighed, shaking his head as he stood there with Noel and Alister.
Astra watched, a look of amusement on their face. ”Oh well. I prefer pain to boredom, anyway. I also apologize… for any past misunderstandings. Toodle-oo, Iggy dear.” They waved to the others, giving the siblings a little pat on the head. ”I think I will also take my leave. Let me know if you need any assistance!”
The elemental was gone the next moment, leaving the others in silence.
“So, uh…” Noel spoke softly. “Who wants breakfast?”
Ignis stopped, sighing softly. He turned around to Kali, "Sorry. Still unfamiliar with free will. I can still remember things long before." Ignis's head surged with a slight pain, "I'll work on my self restraint."
She shook her head at ignis, "ignis, it's okay. I get that, I should be the one working on restraint.." She sighed softly, rubbing her face as she spoke.
Evan just kinda stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to say to the siblings.
"Uh….me?"
(The irresponsible parents and competent children vibes-)
Ignis's eyes shift wide for a moment, then shut when he slaps his palm to his face, "Ugh. Breakfast is probably cold right now. It never tastes right heated up again. Distractions, distractions."
"Hey, at least you made breakfast. I'm sure we could find a way to heat it up and make it taste good."
She moved to grab his hand, pulling him towards the kitchen.
Alister rubbed his eyes, trying to focus his mind on other things. “Alright, might as well.”
He looked up, meeting his sister’s eyes. She gave him a look that told him they were definitely going to discuss this in private later. For now though, she just sighed.
“It’s probably cold by now, but Ignis and Kali are good cooks,” she said, going over and heading out the door.
Ignis did nothing to fight her grip. He merely smiled as he was tugged into the kitchen. When they reached the kitchen, he couldn't help but notice the food surprisingly warm. As if they hadn't lost any heat when they left. Perhaps I did this? He thought, That's not it… I couldn't have… Ignis quickly shook the thought out.
"Huh…ignis, did you do this..?" She turned to look at ignis before seeing the expression on his face. He didn't seem to know either.
"Well, at least the food is still warm, now we don't have to warm it up." She nudged him, giving his hand a squeeze.

Evan nodded, though he did notice the look they shared between the two of them. He knew they were siblings, but sometimes he wished he could know what they talked about. It wasn't his buisness though, so he didn't expect them to share.
"Right, I'm sure it will taste good."
Ignis attempted to move past the fact the food hadn't lost it's heat. He walked over with Kali and sat down. Something wasn't right. Mysterious laughter, Astra…but nothing has seemed right for Ignis, so he had to move past it. He began to eat as cautiously as he could. He was surrounded by elementals and was targeted by an illusionist with a bad army of elementals, so he couldn't afford to be fooled now.
Kali frowned as she looked across the table at ignis as he was being so cautious with his food and with his surrondings..was there something that happened that she didn't know? Sure they needed to be cautious but..nit like this. This was supposed to be a time to relax.
"Ignis..is something bothering you?'
Ignis recognized Kali's voice and it pulled him from suspicion. He turned to her and spoke quietly, "Our elements are a part of us, so in turn we are a part of it. Like darkness, there will always be shadows you have never created, but it's not something you'd forget if you did. The heat in this food isn't from me. It's foreign. That's what has me cautious. I don't think we're alone in the building."
Alister rubbed his eyes, trying to focus his mind on other things. “Alright, might as well.”

Noel led the boys back to the kitchen, overhearing the tail-end of Kali and Ignis’s conversation. “What’s this about not being alone?” She immediately spoke up.
Alister, meanwhile, furrowed his brow with concern. He quietly took Evan’s hand in his.
Kali Was about to say something when alister Noel and Evan showed up, she sighed. Wishing she had more alone time with ignis before they had showed up. She looked between ignis and the other three.
"Ignis is saying that because our food is still warm and ignis didn't do it means someone else did it."
She spoke, explaining the situation but still looking at ignis.
