Dalton walked into class, this felt ridiculous, why couldn’t he just stay in his old school? Things weren’t so bad. Nonetheless he sat down.
Yuki blinked. Everything happened so quickly, voices filled the room until the bell rang, and then he was nudged and pushed until he found himself sitting in a chair surrounded by other students. Already everyone had begun making friends and even a student or two was sent to the principle's office, and it wasn't even halfway through class. Yuki slouched down in his chair, a bit strange for his prideful manner, but he felt rather discouraged with the first day of school. He wonders if the teacher will start class rather than sending students out of the room, and occupies his time by opening up a book from his bag. Though he'd already started the book, Yuki decided to read the beginning again to see if he had missed anything, which he doubts he did, but he really was not in the mood to take in any new information, despite it being the first class of the year. He brushed a bit of hair behind his ear and adjusted his glasses, leaning forward towards the book and indulging in the words.
Millie turned to Zoe and saw the sadness in her eyes, "You know, I think you're a true friend too." She smiled
Zoe looked a bit confused and surprised. ",W-What?"
Cicada walked into class her fingers still alight with fire. She sat down in the back with a huff as she pulled out her own sketch book. The pages were slightly singed and Cicada waved her hand to put the fire out.
"Even though you don't talk that much, I think that you seem like a kind person." Millie opened her textbook.

"Fire huh?" Dalton smiled, he had noticed.
Cicada looked up to the boy, "Um yeah. What about you?"
"Even though you don't talk that much, I think that you seem like a kind person." Millie opened her textbook.
Zoe didn't know what to think. "Um Thanks?" Befire she ducked her head and opened her textbook.
Cicada looked up to the boy, "Um yeah. What about you?"
"Mind control and compulsion." He said as he looked away, he was ashamed.
Conversations rose up around Yuki, and he felt tempted to eye people coldly, but his instinct kicked in and reminded him that he should make a nicer first impression and go with a more kind approach. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he searched the room for a potential friend, but quickly realized that everyone was already talking to everyone. He didn't want to interrupt any conversations, but he knew he probably needed a friend. Maybe I should befriend another Slimteit, he thought, I'd much rather surround myself with intelligent people.
"That's cool," Cicada smiled at him as her fingertips lit on fire, "Better than being a pyromaniac with fire literally at her fingertips."

"Being a pyromaniac seems a bit better than being able to paralyze people and having no control," He sighed.
Millie was suddenly very tired and decided to sleep during class.
"Oof," Cicada winced slightly, "You'll get better at it."
Angel sat her fingers intertwined. Her social anxiety started to kick in. For her there were to many people and voices in here. She covered her ears trying to block out some of the sound.
"Oof," Cicada winced slightly, "You'll get better at it."
"Hopefully," He nodded, "I'm Dalton,"
