"But I did think about it." Felix sighed dramatically. "Why must you be so cruel? I only want a taste of the sweet ice cream you hide behind your wall of 'No'."

Blaine glared at Felix for a moment before giving in and sighing.

"Fine, but you have to get your own spoon," she declared. "They're in the drawer by the sink."

"Ah, my dear Blaine, I have a terrible sense of direction. Please, would you care to show me?" he blew a strand of his white-blonde hair away from his eyes.

"If I must," Blaine sighed dramatically, standing up from her comfortable spot on the couch. "C'mon, broken compass, let's go get you a spoon."

"Is that my new nickname? Do I get to give you one?" he tapped her head lightly. "I christen you, Queen of Hearts."

Blaine scrunched her nose as Felix tapped her head, then furrowed her eyebrows at the name.

"Why 'Queen of Hearts'?" she asked.

"Queen of my heart?" he offered, smirking.

Blaine blushed a bit but laughed it off. "Okay, sure," she said as she reached over to the silverware drawer and pulled out a spoon, handing it to Felix. "Here."

He bowed and took the spoon, acting as if it was the most amazing gift ever. "Thank you, my fair lady."

"My pleasure, good sir!" Blaine replied, smiling as she curtsied. "Now, let's eat!"

"Amen to that." Felix dug his spoon into Blaine's ice cream, smiling.

Blaine frowned slightly as Felix took some of her ice cream but said nothing. After all, she had given him permission.

She set the container down on the counter and jumped up beside it, her feet dangling off the edge. Picking it back up again, she took another bite.

Shade watched as the two ate their ice cream. She pulled out her computer and worked on a program.

He smiled and licked the spoon off, staring up at her and casually flicking a glance towards Shade from across the room.

Shade saw Felix's glance and wondered what that was all about. Yeah, they were both villains, but they should be careful around the girls. They didn't know about her nighttime activities.

Blaine noticed his gaze move from her for a second, but she decided against saying something. This time, anyway. Obviously, there was something going on between the two of them, but since she didn't know what it was, she couldn't judge whether or not she should be jealous or furious or simply annoyed.

"So," she started, breaking the silence. "What do you think of my extra-caramelly ice cream?"
