Cressida froze suddenly and dropped Duuvuri. Her eyes seemed to glaze over as she stared straight ahead. When she spoke, it sounded nothing like her normal voice.

"Awaiting orders."

Code Breaker stopped, "That really isn't good."

She pulled up her holoscreen and began writing a series of code.

"Aw, crap. Really?" Whitehot exclaimed as she watched from the sidelines. "What the heck is going on here?"

"Brain washing," Code breaker responded. Still furiously working on putting the code together, "Be careful of her."

"Don't let him say anything to her" Frost said, maybe if she didn't get any orders they could figure out whats going on without Golden going crazy

Bloodlust glared at Duuvuri, "You can shut up now. Remember our little deal?" he dangled a small teddy-bear from his wrist, stained in blood as Duuvuri's face grew pale. "You are going to-"
"I told you, don't say a word, understand?" he wagged a finger, grinning.

"I'll reverse the effects Bloodlust," Code Breaker told him, "If you can't get Duuvuri to."

"Go ahead," Bloodlust yawned, showing sharpened teeth and throwing Duuvuri into a state of panic, hoping that Bloodlust wouldn't bite him.

Truth ran over to Code Breaker.

“I've seen something like this before. A high level of emotion might be able to reverse the control.”

"Got it and who needs emotions when you can basically mess with the DNA and neurons of a person," Code Breaker finished up. She formed it into a serum. She checked to make sure it wasn't glitching, which it wasn't. She injected it into Golden to remove the brainwashing.

Golden screamed. Louder than any human should have been able to. She kicked out at Code Breaker, putting distance between them.

Code Breaker recovered quickly, "That wasn't planned!"

Golden ran over to Bloodlust and pushed him away from Duuvuri. She spoke in the same monotone voice.
“Awaiting further orders.”

"It didn't work!" Code Breaker was confused. Then she thought of something, "Maybe it's just taking longer than planned. I hope."

Truth sighed. “It's not about chemicals! It needs to be actual emotion.”

"Are you serious?!" Code Breaker shouted at Truth.

“Yes! Do I look like the type of person to lie?”

"No," Code Breaker looked at Truth, "What do we do?"

“I don't know! Ask Lib, she's the one who's good at coming up with plans!” She said, voice rising in hysteria.

"Lib?" Code Breaker asked.

“Liberty!”

"Help then Liberty?" Code Breaker felt slightly weirded out by the names.

“Just- I’ll talk to her.” Truth ran over to where Liberty, Justice and Freedom were standing.

Code Breaker sighed and looked back over to Golden and Duuvuri.
